Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.
What did you do to your SV today? (mods, farkles, maintenance, etc)

I made a bracket that connects the muffler to the bike (stock '04+ muffler in a '03 sv :S)
Now is secured! And ordered a glass mirror that was broken...will install as soon as I get it
I got my springs from Sonic yesterday. They won't get installed until the Traxxion damper rod kit comes. I was surprised by how short they are. The last time I was inside a pair of forks (I think it was my 79 CB750F) I seem to remember the springs being just as long as the fully extended fork.
New M3 for the rear, had to replace the plugged tire, argh. Fairings going back on this afternoon, adjusting teh CB antenna, check the SWF, and maybe change the oil in the mini today or tomorrow.
Gotta prep the trailer too.
Installed SV Gel seat, swingarm spools for the new Trex rear stand and frame sliders. Only got to test the seat out for a couple miles before it started to hail, so far I'm only slightly disapointed I guess it needs to break in before I can tell for sure. Though I have a feeling I well be happy I have it on the long rides.
Tried to install my motoslider swingarm sliders. Didn't work out too well... the first went on no problem... the second one went almost all the way and the friggin bolt bent.
Installed and fiddled around with my top case from JC Whitney took a while to figure out how to drill and mount the bracket onto the rear seat. Turned out pretty nice it might be pretty damm ugly but its a sweet touring mode set up for the long weekends and more importantly the rally!
I am truly excited that I just got my brand new Metzeler Z6 Interact tires mounted and ready to go on the bike. I am looking greatly forward to trying these tires out. They will probably be a bit better than the 9 year old worn out tires they replace.
First though I think I am going to change the fork oil tonight.
I believe it is threaded on the right side. I am replacing my stock shock this week and have done a little research. They say when you swap it for a GSXR you have to use the GSXR bolt and nut cause the SV shock is threaded on the right.
Not just me then... I'm better with spanners than most but I still can't do an oil change without causing an environmental catastrophe and having greenpeace turn up in my garage in speedboats.
