It wasn't ~today~ actually, but just a couple days ago I finished up my conversion to bars from clip ons - a conversion done by a previous owner. I put on bikemaster superbike bars in black and they look and feek great. I also replaced the front brake lines with galfer SS braided, replaced the front signals with the LEDs, painted the headlight/signal bracket, installed R6 throttle tube, and installed new grips.
It is a lot more comfortable position but what I am so surprised about is how the dynamics of the ride changed so much. Cornering feels weird without me hunched over the front of the bike. There's a lot more of my hefty weight on the back tire now, emphasizing the need to replace the rear shock even more. Plus my arse hurts in a different place, and more quickly, than with clips. This will take some getting use to!
