fitted my new fairing lower after i got it back from the shop to set the valve clearances.... been putting that off for too long!

I changed my oil and spark plugs.

There are more fires in CA. Corona, Yorba Linda, Brea and Anahiem Hills. The smoke has made the sky overcast and its raining ashes.

This pic shows the ashes falling from the sky, Yorba linda, Brea is like 10 miles from me.

Is that what smells (like burning all over)?

Installed my rear riser plates last night.

TechSpec pads are installed too (from the SVR group buy). Since I already have their larger TankPro3, I put the smaller sv tank pad on the front of the tank. Protects that part of the tank on the very rare occasion that I have something dangling from my neck when I tuck in.

Today I switched my shifting to 1up 5down. (GP shifting) I welded together some stands for the bike. Adjustable front and rear stands. And last but not least I ordered a Power Commander USB III for a great price of $180!

Rode from San Luis Obispo up HW1 to Monterey, had lunch, rode back (300mi) and then lubed my chain. Was a good day.

Went for a Sunday group ride to Ortega Hwy.

Went thru Santiago Canyon and Live Oak, then headed for Ortega, the weather was great!

Somebody's V-Strom, there also was a black SVS1k there forgot to take pic of it.

Left my bike chained up all day. Walked 4 miles instead.

I rode it like I stole it. Then, I brought it home and changed the oil and filter. Next weekend it gets a chain cleaning/lube.

I finally finished making my own one off fender eliminator kit. Also rewired all turn signals and put on license plate bolts with lights built in.

Here's a picture of the bike that went down, its a GSXR600 just like the last time I went on a group ride. Something about making left turns with them.

yes, I think the spray-can tops it off ;D:p

I cleaned my chain
I put on my driving lights (on the fork, where the reflectors once were) - Some Pilot NV-512W 35W driving lights
I soldered up my aTRE, to be installed next weekend :)

my back hurts from all the bending and squatting. I don't have any "formal" workbench area, so most of my work was done on the floor (soldering, kneeling, etc)
