Installed the adjustable fork caps and new spacers, then took it for a ride to dial it in. I just wish I had done this six months ago when I first saw the caps on ebay, It's awesome being able to adjust the preload on the fly rather than having to cut different size spacers, pull the bars off, open the forks, etc, just to adjust the preload. within ten minutes I had the front feeling way better than it has been.
Now I just cant wait for the penske to show up so I can get the rear properly sorted.

Not strictly to the SV. Finished adding visibility improvements to my a* backpack. A combination of day go paint and reflective stickers.

Cleaned & lubed chain and gave her a bath. Just a few hundred miles to go before I've put 10k miles on her of my own, and a few days to the anniversary of purchasing her.

Slight upgrade. :)
Niiiiice! Did you re-spring it or was it already ok? How does the bike feel now? Are you still running with stock front springs?

Not really for the bike, for me!

My first set of leathers, got them used from a very generous gentleman of craigslist for 100 bucks! They are three years old, and have only been worn a handful of time. The PO "outgrew" them!

It was good with what it had. Haven't been able to ride it yet. Missing spacers so hopefully we can get those quickly. Front is running stock with higher weight oil but just in my couple of garage bounce tests (much to the amusement of the neighbors) the front definitely needs some work. Will probably upgrade the springs in the near future and then Fatty will never let me ride my bike again.

... so this is how Fatty will end up getting an SV?

I am Ofir and I approve this post.

Cleaned the chain and lubed for the rally. Changed the air filter.

Took my kids and my wife's friend for quick trips down the road. All three enjoyed the rides!

Oil and filter change. Rotella T6 and Purolater PL14459.

As usual, I took a little 28 mile ride before draining the oil to make sure it was good and hot. (Helps get all the dirt out of the motor.)

Found the front brakes are leaking.

Oh that's not Good!

Looks to be enough left to ride home. Just may use the rear brake more than normal....
