May have failed to drop down to 1st gear on the last corner before pulling into the parkade today. Did some back and forth testing... yup still needs too much fuel to pull away from a stop. Makes a rattling noise. WTF.

Go upstairs, eat food. Google. Panic about big end bearings...

Go downstairs. Pull off plastic. Change oil, look for metal bits, check for vacuum leaks. check air filter, check plugs, check for spark, check carb sync, check chain slack/lube... all good. Take bike off stands, test... everything normal.

Then I remembered I had been thinking about the erratic driver in my mirrors as I slowed and waited for the last turn. I also remember having trouble finding neutral before rolling it on the stands for my panic checks.

Diagnosis? Unlikely: knock under load from overheating. VERY likely: attempted 3rd gear starts.

ooooh boy, somebody get me a beer I need to sit down.
I caught about half of that...

Sonic springs and emulators.

Well it was last night but I finally changed my clutch cable. WOW what a difference, like a whole new bike. I probably said this last time to but I need to make this a yearly thing, I ride in the rain too much.

New pilot road 4s! and tonight if I don't go for a ride it will be a zx14 shock too. Next up I am going to tackle the front end with some springs and emulators, ss brake lines, and some 3.5 swatt risers that just arrived :)

Wheelied it for the fist time... Ok, not really, but I swapped the rear sprocket from a 45 to a 47t and now when you give it a handful in first while rolling it picks the front up off the ground for a second.

Does wheelies with stock sprockets too, at 5k rpm ;)

Mine never did it with the stock sprockets. When I cracked to WOT I could always feel the front get light, but it never left the ground. Although it's not like I was trying to get it too either. That wasn't the reason for the swap though, I've got a track day coming up next week at a kinda right track and wanted to see what the difference will be like.

160 lb rider and when the low fuel tank light is on and ambient temperature is below 70 its wheelie city. Surprise the front wheel rises 3 ft. In the air on wot at about 6000 rpm - yea hah. I feel 30 years younger. Thank you Suzuki.

Are you going to the infineon go kart track?
And yeah its not exactly easy to wheelie with stock, but from 5-6k rpms in first gear is where you wanna twist hard, and lean back, saddlebags help

I fixed the reverse gear that stopped working when I installed the fairy sparkles. Now the stereo is not turning on.

Any suggestions will be well appreciated.

I am Ofir and I approve this post.
