It's hard to find time to ride when I take my daughter to work with me...and the missus works on Saturdays, so I'm home with the kids, on when she's home on Sunday, she wants to hang out, not ride.

No, I won't regret it--there's no such thing as "finding time". Consider that I've ridden it four times since August...and I used to be a year-round rider.

I've gone long stretches without a bike before; I can buy another later.

I'm in a similar quandry. I love the KTM supermoto I just bought, but I hate gearing up to ride 5 minutes to work in the mornings. The SV has lost some of its fun after I switched to higher rearsets and a GSXR front/clipons. For all the work I've put into the bike, I would hate to sell it.

So what typically happens is that both bikes will sit for long periods of time until I work up the motivation to take one to the gym, but the are no curved roads anywhere close by, so it's in-town straight shots only. The SV is uncomfortable to ride for long stretches, as is the KTM...

Grr.

Much as I hate to give up the supermoto, I might sell the KTM and put handlebars back on the SV to try to regain some of the comfort and agility that I've been missing.

All is not lost - I discovered that the mount plates for my Vortex rearsets could be flipped, allowing me to move the pegs further down. Did that, and moved them all the way back as well. Much, much more comfortable.

On to the bars.

Installed the new battery and fired it up for the first time this year. :)

(And yesterday I installed a voltmeter on the dash.)

It was yesterday but almost ran out of gas for the first time this year.

Mailed the check for the new sticker. (Should have it by wednesday)

Have to keep the State Gov. happy!
