I took the leaves off my SV today. It was raining AGAIN

I ignored the little oil leaking beast and the nearly $90 worth of parts sitting on the on the bench to fix it and went out riding on my other bike while the weather was dry.

I think I bought another SV tonight to go with the 2 I already have. I think, hubby or kiddo may get this one.
Hi tlc, pictures? And yes, of the bike.

Rode to the beach today to break-in new gloves that I bought. I was going, man these gloves don't feel right, not like my other gloves, blah blah blah. After stopping at the doughnut shop, I ride home, the gloves feel alright like I just got used to them now?!

I cleaned and lubed the chain, did not wash the bike because I have a 360+ mi ride Sunday. I am ready, this will be my longest ride.

Put the finishing touches on my bike, with the hard bags. Rode for about an hour or so.

It's one that's listed here in the for sale section. Right now, nothing is solid and I won't be able to pick it up for a couple of weeks anyway. He's out of town for next weekend, and I can't get to his house during the week because he's about 200 miles from me. We'll see. I may be selling it for parts, after I pick off what I need.

Went on my first group ride through the back roads of Alabama with wockman and a couple friends. Had a blast and got a chance to ride with a much more experienced (20+ years) rider. He kept things safe and at a pace I could handle. Overall a great experience.

Picked it up from the dealer (finally taking delivery). Unfortunately, when they loaded it on the trailer they strapped it down using the handlebars and now they are totally bent. Now I'm surfing the web to find some new ones to replace them (doh!!). Oh well......I don't take the MSF until next weekend anyway so hopefully I can get the new bars in and on by the end of my program.

Teri congrats on the new bike. Let me know if you decide to part it out I'm going to be looking for some parts.
Didn't ride mine today. Bought Tuxedo's SV and rode it 80 miles home. Actually my roomates bought it I just get to work on it. It will be going to Julie's 16 yo daughter. Soon to be 17. Trying to get it back as stock as possible so she won't get to ride it for a little bit.
I unlike Teri can provide Nekkid pictures.

Went on my Sunday Ojai ride, It was great. Over 340 miles, one female rider went down after we stopped for breakfast in Ventura, hit rain and some snow that wasn't expected, one rider fixed his flat, he stayed with her until a tow truck arrived.

Here's a picture of the bike that went down, its a GSXR600 just like the last time I went on a group ride. Something about making left turns with them.
