Took my chances with Motionpro chain breaker to replace chain without grinding off the head. Snapped it! Press plate and riveter work fine though. Quick trip to HF and got their heavy duty chain breaker and replaced the chain today.

Also took the lady of the house on a brief scoot around town.

Why do people think you can just press a riveted link through without grinding the head off first?
Somewhere I read that there ARE breakers that can do this, but I'm sure not willing to pay for such strength when the common run-o-the-mill multi tool works just fine once the head is removed. Guess some people just must try it! That Adventurer Spirit that lies deep within us all.:) I've learned to ignore it and take the safe way out most of the time.

Did some maintenance, Cleaned and lubed chain, oil change, brake fluid changed, I installed a PCIII and quick shifter, BUT, the battery died on me. Now I'm charging it and today was my only day off in a long time... Hopefully the battery's still good and the problem wasn't the PCIII...

I took her out for a ride on sunday. Boy I missed her. I even wiped off some of the dust too.

In the process of ripping off my integrated undertail to go back to a more stock look. After a few complaints about my tail lights not being bright enough I figured I better do something.

Bought a Clear Alternatives kit for the stock tail light so hopefully I will be seen!

Went for a nice long ride. And watched another sv front flip into a ditch. Guy was trying to ride way above his skill level. But he was okay for the most part and rode it home. Broke everything off behind the rear seat.
