put the carbs together. tried to run it off a water bottle and the tundra (jumper cables), but it did not start because I had no way to fill the float bowls (no run, no vac, so no start). need to rig something up...

Last night I drained my steering damper to fill it with heavy oil thinking it needed it, but it turned out I didn't do too great of a job last time I filled it (I was in kind of a hurry) and there was a little bit of air in there leaving a little bit of free play in it.
Refilled it with 10w and no air gap this time so it's smooth from first pull right the way across.

got it running (well sorta, off a water bottle that i use instead of a fuel pump).
decided that while i could get it together and fully road worthy for another $600 or so, i'd rather part it out.
