Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

I bought my zx 10 shock for 55 shipped off ebay, but it was the less expensive 45º reservoir type. If you got a zx14 for 50 you got a good deal. They can be found at that price but you have to do some digging.

The hanger was just a bent piece of aluminum holding up a 25lb exhaust can so it was only a matter of time before it broke. The M4 will be supported by the passenger peg bracket again that I'll reattach until I can get a proper hanger made, or I'll just leave it as is.

KC @ BRG did all the fabrication and I spent probably every weekend at his shop for 4 months getting the thing built. I plan on doing a write up on the whole thing on my blog later.

Technically this was yesterday's work, but I finished up the white stripe, its just temporary, I'm just playing around with the paint scheme.

Do you mean it doesn't look good on it, or it doesn't look centered? Its definitely centered, but that cut out isn't.

I replaced my chain and sprockets and changed my oil and filter. Then I took it for a spin around the block to test it out and it started spewing oil! 
Since the chain broke at 80mph, I assumed that I must have missed a small crack in the case. As it turns out, the clutch pushrod was bent, and it was leaking oil from where it entered the case. A block of wood and a hammer straightened out the pushrod, which stopped the oil leak!
... So I can now say I fixed an oil leak with a hammer! :rock:

I rode to the drug store to pick up my prescriptions (I have high blood pressure). On the way back, some idiot oriental woman pulled out right in front of me. I saw it coming, though, and figured she would drive right into my lane. And that's exactly what she did. No crash, not even a close call.

I think you're right, I'll probably just remove it until I'm ready to finalize the paint.
Today I got the vapor mount finished, and also made a mount for the brake resevior. Lubed the chain and then rode it to Corvallis for the beavers game tomorrow.

Jake- I dig that instrument setup. It looks really clean. Where did you get your hands on that solo seat cowl? I have been looking for exactly that forever!!
