Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.
How's the brightness on those? And then installed new china-cheapie turn signals (..also due to last week's lowside).
Yep! :icon_biggrin:fake Brembos?
Actually really good for their size. How's the brightness on those?
I doubt waiting too long to tighten your chain killed your sprockets and chain.finally tightened my chain. waited way too long and now I need a full sprocket and chain switchout.
i swear i'm gonna get to the TPS adjustment tomorrow. I swear.
Haven't gotten around to wiring the pinch bolts yet?
Haha, no, but I keep thinking about it.Haven't gotten around to wiring the pinch bolts yet?
I'm not doubting that your chain is toast. I'm just saying that having your chain too loose isn't what ate your chain and sprockets.i dunno. it was pretty bad. the difference between the tight spots and loose spots is pretty drastic.
If he waited a year, and didn't lube it either in that period, it's quite possible it munched the sprockets. Especially if they're Aluminum instead of Steel.I'm not doubting that your chain is toast. I'm just saying that having your chain too loose isn't what ate your chain and sprockets.
Certainly. In that case, it wouldn't be the chain being too loose that killed the chain and sprockets; it would be lack of chain maintenance. If he waited a year, and didn't lube it either in that period, it's quite possible it munched the sprockets. Especially if they're Aluminum instead of Steel.
that's awesome!
well, i've only had the bike two months, so I don't know what happened to it before that. I just know the chain is toast, and have always been told to change the sprockets with the chain. everything else is gravy.Certainly.
