Today, I applied loctite on the gear shift lever bolt. The bolt came loose and completely off while I was on the highway leaving the gear shift lever dangling on the ground. O_O

Not happy times.

Rode 100km in the pi55ing rain, before work....why? coz I was away for the three day weekend and had to drive the cage.....needed my daily fix of 2 wheeled action....

Broke out the heated gear hookup from its hiding place behind the side cover so that I could use my heated gloves this morning on the ride in.

Wasn't done today but over the weekend, had the front fork springs, fork seals and fork oil changed out for stiffer springs and heavier fork oil. Next weekend, having the rear shock changed out for a 636 shock that I should get tomorrow.

Late post, as well, but after Sunday's ride, I finally rotated the brake and clutch levers down a little. Also realigned the bar end mirrors a smidge. Minor adjustments to improve the overall experience.

- Replace rear seat with the OEM cowling
- Built a power distribution block with relay as shown on the Canyon Chasers site
- Replaced factory grips with heated ones
- Replaced factory mirrors with Motrax micro bar-end mirrors

SS gafler and HH fronts ... man I had no idea how crappy the stock brakes were until I upgraded.

Went for my ride today because Sunday might have a chance of rain.

Also filled up with gas, its $2.67 by my house.

It's starting to rain right now.

Rode 75 miles, turned in for 600 mile service, asked them to check the throttle body sync, picked up bike (2007 SV1000S), spent next 20 miles going home wondering if the vibes were worse or better.

They probably didn't check anything, and just dumped the oil and cashed my $140 check.

Dude! I was quoted about $250 from one dealer (the one I bought it from), and about $325 from the one closer to where I live. The latter specifically mentioned they would do the TB synch, even though it wasn't specified by Suzuki.

I installed my Pyramid hugger. It was a bit more of a PITA than I thought it would be. Also got the wheels all cleaned up and ready to install the reflective wheel strips tomorrow.
