Installed the ballasts and went for a dusk ride with the new HID projectors installed

Today was frustrating for me :( The only thing that went right, was the bath and shine I gave both the SVs. It spiraled downhill from there.

The new handlebars for the 04 came in and I got all excited...delivered early enough for me to do it. I take off the sun washed pink bars (were red) and set the new ones in place. Friggin mounts are not 7/8. So back on with old and order placed for 7/8 mounts, and a riser for just in case.

I know I have an exhaust on the way, and I really want to do the welding myself. So I get my husbands welder out, ground it, plug it in.....nothing. Figured out I didn't ground it right, ZAP! Good? Yes and no. It's a 110 welder and the test welds I did doesn't look like it will be enough to attach the new pipe. I really didn't want to outsource it...but it looks like I'll have to.

Then I check the mail. The clips I ordered for the tail piece came in....but they sent me the wrong ones.

At least the bikes are clean and shiny. That's the positive for today....

Windy out here again, and my beautiful black bike was covered in dust so my girlfriends 'friends' decided that I needed d!cks drawn all over my bike. I hate people that have to draw on anything that's dirty.

And you didn't even think to take a picture and post it here for us???

That is absolutely uncalled for.

Oh, where to start...

Over the past week I installed new lightened flywheel and star shifter from Spears, new clutch, quick turn throttle with new throttle cables, Woodcraft bar guard, a new starter/kill switch, and changed the oil filter adapter. Also rebuilt my water pump.

Still need to get the Shark Guard on, tank foam in, hook up the GPX Pro, put on seat foam, and bleed the brakes, in order to be ready for the track day/race season up here in Wisconsin.

Wow Capital that's hard to follow. I don't even know what some of those things are =)

Over last couple weeks - steve's tre, hammer grips, sonic springs & oil, and zx-10r shock. Today went to get dunlop roadsmart 2's put on and a brake fluid change and finally took it for the first ride of the season. So many changes at once, it's riding nicely.

Also got left in the dust by a 5'10 blond model-looking girl in full leathers on some nice bike I couldn't recognize. The female bikers here are something to see.

hmmm model looking with a helmet and full leathers on? sure your not just projecting what you wanted her to look like?
I get nervous about what a girl REALLY looks like when she is just wearing sunglasses or a hat

I'm stomping my feet and having a hissie fit here. New 7/8 handlebar came in on Monday, but the mounts on the bike are not for a 7/8. Ordered the proper mounts and those came in today. So after work I jump on swapping everything out...again.

Do you think I can break bolts on the mounts on there?! F**K NO! WTF?!?! I'm literally at my patience end.

So what did I do to my SV today? Fondled the f**king handlebars another time just to keep them the same ugly thing that they are!

I apologize for my potty mouth...:(
