Swapped out a very expensive Suburban Machinery Type-1 bar for a very cheap Bikemaster Superbike bar.

 

Moved it around in the garage yesterday so I could work on the XT - XT is ready to be my primary hooligan bike for the street now! Whoo hoo!

 

Rode it...........

Picked up the bodywork for the track bike yesterday. It's really pretty....Is that ok to say about bodywork for a bike?

 

Pushed it out of the way and got out the grill. Its been pouring rain all day.

 

Washed and waxed.

 

Gave it an "I'm sorry" look as I walked to the car this morning.

Got it all cleaned up, waxed, reoiled the chain, filled the chain luber, changed the oil, bled the front brakes, and installed the right swingarm slider. I didn't have 2 19mm sockets, so the frame motosliders will have to wait until tomorrow. I need a longer bolt for the left side swingarm so I can retain my chain luber mount.

Installed frame sliders today. Need to find shorter bolts to use when I take off the Suzuki sliders.

 

Snorkelectomy. It's less then a week old. Now I need money for the sliders and eliminator.

I reset my TPS after I was finally able to figure out how the heck to do it.... I also painted my calipers silver to match bike frame and rims and bled the brakes after reinstalling. I took the bike for a short run but wasn't able to get very far... didn't bleed the brakes enough and it got super cold so it will be a couple days before I can really feel the effects of the TPS but I am excited.

 

Went home on my lunch break to go and get it. Rode it back to work. Then at 5:00 I rode it back home.

Got some Street FX electro pod LEDs, semi black spray paint and a $13.50 tank of gas!!

 

put a 2004 gsxr 1000 shock on it.

 

interesting.... i put an 06 zx10 shock on mine. man she handles much better!

 

did you look at the stocker before you chucked it in the trash? i checked mine out, it really is a piece of junk

 

I rode it

 

Gave the SV some love after riding it in rain the last few days. Wash followed by serious wax and buff, polished all the shiny stainless with autosol, cleaned and lubed the chain, and even put on some eBay red aluminum valve stem covers LOL. Then I parked on the road while I swept out the garage.
