Very nice ;D

I got my blue reflective in yesterday..gonna do them this weekend. Any tips for getting them on right and easy?

go SLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW

the slower the better -- plan on a while. i think mine took me almost 2 hrs to put on :(. give the rims a solid cleaning w/ soap and water or brake-dust remover, and then right before you put them on, grab a sock or cotton t-shirt or something and some pure isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol and rub down the side bits (where the stripes go). let it evaporate 100% and then go to down :).

and post pics when you're done :p

the first 2-3 stripes will look like ****, lol. the last one will go on amazingly straight.

Finished up my stubby yoshimura, and installed the carbon fiber fender.

Looked at it and took note of the dust. :(

Switching out wire harness and installing acewell.

Finished Sonic Springs .85 and 15wt fork upgrade!

See?

Rode her yesterday on the Cherohala Skyway, and today rode 129 down to 74, then east to 28, then south to Franklin, then came back on 1310 (Wayah Rd) through the Nantahala and around Wayah Bald, back to 74, thenup 129 to Robbinsville. LEOs are already out on the Dragon, so we blew it off. Saw one ranger on the Cherohala, and a local LEO in Tellico Plains while we were eating lunch.

It was a good weekend. :)

Wayah Road has some very tight switchbacks. Unfortunately, we were stuck behind five couples on HDs from Florida. Either they'd never seen a twisty before or they were totally new riders. 15 mph on the switchbacks was almost dangerous. I stayed back from them praying that they didn't go down from going so slow. Took us a good 10 miles to finally get around them. I want to do it again without the slow riders. Think it'll be a blast.

changed oil, lubed chain, tightened the mirrors, checked tire pressure (which reminds me, i need to find out what they should be) and started researching the N to S cable swap that's up next. then rode for a couple hours w/ Davin.

a.s.

Lashed it down to keep the floodwaters from carrying her off...LOL

Been raining here in central VA since Saturday night... T-Storms and localized flash floods. This weather BLOWS. I don't need an SV right now, I need a friggin jet ski!!!!

Well - it wasn't today...but Saturday and Sunday we:

Removed the stock fender
Installed flush mount blinkers
"adjusted" the stock fender w/ a new license plate bracket and reinstalled
Installed new LeoVince high mount titanum exhaust

What's left:

Power commander and Dyno mapping
Frame sliders

YAY!!!

Yesterday - Checked valve clearances (ALL OUT OF SPEC :() so now I have to wait until Tuesday to get my dealer to order up some shims.

And I installed a 2007 636 rear shock.

Today I rode to work, enjoying the new rear shock and trying to feel it out to see what needs to be adjusted.

The list of things to do seems to be growing instead of shrinking...
