Installed a 06/07 ZX10R shock.
Switched to Shell Rotella T6.
Re-aligned the forks because the brakes weren't operating properly.

Now I'm about install some 1st gen clip-ons because the ones on the bike were bent by the PO.

Finished the clip-on to handlebar conversion. All I still need to do is bleed the brakes and adjust the clutch cable.

I'm itching to take her out for a spin... But it doesn't look like the weather is gonna cooperate. We just got an inch of snow tonight and they're calling for a few more inches on Monday.

Looking good!

Can you still turn lock to lock without stuff hitting the fairing?

Thanks!

Yep. There's enough room to turn from lock to lock without worry of the bars, levers, or my hands hitting the fairing or the tank. The brake and clutch levers need to be angled slightly downward to avoid hitting the fairing, but that's how I had them with the clip-ons anyhow. The closest thing to hitting is the phone case, which clears by about a half an inch. That's connected with a RAM mounting system though, so it's easily adjustable.

took her out for a spin after dropping the triples/clip-ons 8mm to compensate for some changes that led to the rear being lower than the front, in turn boogering up my geometry and making turn-in not so confidence inspiring.

went over to my favorite "twisty" road close by and everything is on rails now. now im just waiting patiently for my cortech tail bag i scored for 50 bones on ebay to show up.

I finally put on the rear Rizomas... I ordered a set of 4 in october, put the front ones on in december and now the rear ones. Project done!

Tore down San Francicquito canyon on the way to work tonight, reducing the chicken strips on the tires giving the michelin man a proper thrashing. Later i will fill the fuel tank. Also scheming up a new cafe racer inspired tail section.

Almost forgot. ordered a gently used 05zx6 rear shock to replace the tired gsxr rear shock curently in place. I have put some weight on since the gsxr shock and about 18,000 miles.

I finally got around to topping off my tank for winter storage:-/ and I may have fondled her switches a little ;-).

Those seats are awesome! Where can a guy get a set?
Made them myself...

The bottom right shows the sealing of the stitches on the underside.

I have all the template pieces, if that helps you out ;) A bottle of Jack might help you a little more....

Total cost for mine $19.43, including shipping of both vinyls (2 different sources...that purple was a pain to find).

I bled my brakes, adjusted my clutch cable, and adjusted my throttle cables... All left over from my handlebar conversion yesterday.

I also found some worrisome cheesy looking stuff in my breather tubes coming off the air box. Thank you kind folks at SVRider for setting my mind at ease that this is one of the side effects of not garaging it during the winter apparently.

I installed a Cortech lock mount ring on my gas tank ring to attach a Seahorse case SE300 (basically a Pelican 1200 knockoff, but with keyed latches for security) to as a tank bag. The Seahorse case doesn't come in until Tuesday though.
