Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.
AHh im new what is meant by "Baby Batter"
I thought baby batter was a Cana-Aidian phrase?:dontknow:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=baby-batterI think i gotcha now had to look it up its a rather slangish expression haha
I didn't actually do the work, the dealer did. The first time I touched the brakes, backing it up manually, it stopped so fast it through me off balance. I thought whoa, this is going to be great. The first forward stop, however, was completely disappointing.Did you scrub the rotors to clean them of the "crap" on them from teh stock pads? Also, how did you break in the pads? You "may" have glazed them. Are the brakes fully bleed?
As the upgrade you mentioned is HUGE improvement over the stock set-up.
Don't hit! Use yer words! :nono:Today I rode home from work and thought to myself "Why is this piece of crap running on only one cylinder?" It was barely raining! Certainly not enough to cause the dreaded SV325 syndrome. Frustrating. So I kicked it. That didn't help either. It just seems to do this if it thinks it may rain. Maybe I'll buy a Ninja 650 just to make it jealous.
You should feel the difference from the pads. The rest... Well, the bike's too new to get much benefit from the hoses, and if the old fluid was in decent condition then the new stuff will feel no different (you might notice a difference with very hard riding, old fluid will go off faster, but day to day you won't notice)Well,
Last week I changed the brake lines (Galfer SS), pads (Galfer HH) and fluid (Motul). The most useless mod yet. I waited posting this until I put some time on the pads to get them to seat, but they seem to be seated now and I'm not impressed -- I can't really see any improvement over stock.
OK, That made me laugh out loud! (But it deserved it)Don't hit! Use yer words! :nono:
That's my opinion also. I found the RA's for $238.00 shipped to my door. I can mount them but will need to get them balanced at a shop.It is recommended that you run the same tire in the front as well as the rear. IMHO, and if I had the money, I would go ahead and replace both and get rid of the ghey Dunlop. But that's my opinion.
Looky here for the solution to the R6 throttle and the NEP:Aquired a set of Joe Rocket soft saddle bags from a fellow member, installed R6 throttle tube - not impressed that my NEP throttle lock will not work with the R6 tube (need to get a new one that isin't enlarged). Gonna give it a try tho.
Thanks!!:rock:Looky here for the solution to the R6 throttle and the NEP:
