Pounded a new frost plug in, adjusted the valves, and put her back together.

Since it's a spare motor, hopefully I won't ever have to find out if I did it right.

I'm the same (gave up the car last year), but there was some residual white-sky-poop lingering on the roads this week.

Tomorrow I'll post a certified Canadian SV picture. Scratch n sniff maple syrup scent.

The strom is looking good :) I am jelly of the handlebar vagina-mittens and half decent wind protection. You all healed up now?

I don't have the balls to ride in the winter. There is a lot of black ice around here. Its bad enough going down, but going down and hitting the road when its 20* outside is worse lol.

I bought a new key and keychain for mine lol

Thanks, I've put more than a thousand miles (and a crash) on her since I rebuilt the engine and she hasn't imploded yet ;D

Looking forward for that certified Canadian pic of yours.

*snicker*

I've been riding to work every day so far, with temps in the upper 20's and low 30's. It's cold. But my commute is only 10 miles, so it's tollerable. I might invest in some heated grips, but mostly because my current stock grips are worn smooth. ;D

That wasn't even the high around here. :dontknow:

I've driven my truck to work 3 times in the past year. -6°F was the coldest morning I saw last year and 7 inches of unplowed roads were the most trechourus. Anything for a smile, right?

Pseudo hardcore winter riding (i.e. posing beside a small pile of snow in the plowed & salted office parking lot). Sadly short on enough items to make it certified Canadian- I was late for work.

Sport tires + sand + salt + single digit temps for weeks at a time so the ice chunks never melt off the side roads = not a good time to ride in WI. Winter sucks. :(

I could ride on the highways and major roads through town right now, but I'd never make it out of my neighborhood to get to them. Bleh.

Oh yeah, back on topic. I sat on it this morning on my way out the door. It was magical. And the seat was cold through my slacks.
