Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

I went on my Sunday ride and...

my favorite stopping spot is no more. :'(

The fire was yesterday I was told, don't know if will be fixed, will miss Supreme Doughnuts and seeing the HB locals on Sunday.

So I dedicated my ride to the Supreme Doughnut and HB crew!

On my way back I found a new stopping spot:

It is in NB (Newport Beach). There is a Cronic Tacos next door and a couple doors over is a bicycle shop, took a pic of this one bike.

Oh yeah and its 80 degrees in So CA today. ;D

I also washed the bike and cleaned the chain!

it was actually Friday but stopped at the store thought I had gotten the kickstand all the way down and started getting off and well the kickstand wasn't all the way down and I had to gently set it down. I couldn't help but laugh at myself.

^^^ I almost did that the first time I pulled up to my local bike shop. Got off, started to let the bike go, and it just fell. Luckily I caught it about 6 inches off the ground. Downside was a bunch of the employee's were standing right next to me on their smoke break and watched the whole thing.

After working on my RX7, I took the time to wash last year's bugs off the front of my bike, and use a little Scratch Out to clean up a couple minor blemishes. Now I just have to wait a couple more month before I can ride again. :(

Did a little dance around her;D....

Then placed the new engine and waterpump gaskets and parts down, and returned to studying:'(

Two more weeks and it's all about the SV again!

-Brought my bike to work in thirty-six degree weather... with my bike.
....

-Vaughan
Sweet....You should get together with DWayne. I think he transports his bike on his V-Strom.

I saw a guy in VAB with his bike harnessed to the side of his BMW bike.

put the baffle in the street extreme, noticed it was leaking at the bottom of the midpipe. broke the clamp holding the midpipe to the header, went to OSH and bought a hose clamp to replace it. yay. resealed top and bottom of midpipe and remounted can. will work till i can replace can. (damaged in crash)

looked at the parts that need to be removed to blackout the headlight ring, headlight brackets, and holeshot flyscreen brackets..... and it just isnt gonna happen. too much work, and there will still be alot of silver bits up there afterwards.

I just can't leave her alone in the garage all apart and vulnerable for to many days:eek:

I removed the magneto cover and cylinders. Did some more clean up. Verified that all the right gaskests came.

Anyone have tips for cleaning off the gasket material left by the clutch or magento gaskets? All of the other's seem to have come off completely intact.

You can get it at your local auto zone or the likes. Just be careful where you spray it and read the label first ;).
THanks! I've got to run by there to get new plugs for the bike and wipers for the truck anyway.

Put on Techspecs, and heated grips.
I'm jealous.
That's what I was about to do...just before the engine turned into a shake mixer. Hopefully I will be there by February.
Can't beat a single edge razor blade and a steady hand!
Yeah...that's what I tried first, but I don't have the most steady hands and I don't want to mar up the surfaces. Thankfully it's only the two garkset.

Oh...and nothing looks odd on the bottom end. Even with the magneta cover off and the cylinders out....no cracks to be seen:( So, the mystery continues, but she's going back together in 2 weeks!!!

Well going with the topic, today i mounted my new LED flush turning signals to my new Puig streetfighter fairing (CV-5). The kits is unbelievably awesome. Tomorrow I should be able to get all the electrical soldered together and get the fairing mounted up. Also with that I just got my pro tapers ( 7/8 ) cut down and mounted on. They look great on there with the matte black finish.

Purchased a tri stage paint to match the factory 04 yellow pearl. I am then going to paint my targa seat cover I just picked up for 70 bucks, and undertail that was originally black, and a new tire hugger. I think its gonna come out really nice. The targa seat cover is TEN TIMES better then the suzuki factory one. Fully adjustable to fit tight to the fender.

Then Im gonna finish my home made alarm, and start building my custom bottle rocket launchers out my tail end....lol.....work in progress!

I missed her... Sitting in a storage shed 20 miles away because I am temporarily moved back in with my parents and unless I want to leave it outside with a tarp they wont let me keep it here :(

OH THE INJUSTICE OF IT ALL
