Topped off the fuel, washed her and removed the battery for winter. Then of coarse I found that I have a leaky fork seal. :( But the good news is that I have a set of GSX-R forks in my closet, only need a few more parts to put them on the bike. That project may get moved up the priority list now.

Installed a new black Vortex Rear Sprocket, and mounted/balanced a rear Pilot Power 2CT. Will do the Vortex front sprocket, MVXZ chain, and front tire tomorrow.

I just realized that some as5hole tried to be funny with me and my bike screwing all out the rebound adjuster on the right bar.....
Ugly thing fighting the bike on every turn or bump...geez i was almost out a few times. dont really wanna know who this guy was.....

Got the bike ready for inspection: Put stock turn signals back on, put reflectors back on, put the grab bar back on, filled the coolant level to where it should be, and changed spark plugs. Also ordered a rear seat cowl, and zx10r rear shock.

went on a nice ride around town with my fiancee while she rode her gs500e. stopped at the mall to pick something up and my fading battery finally pooped out on me. got a new one and put it in right there in the parking lot. rode around for an hour to get the charge up as per the directions. got it home and cleaned/lubed/tensioned the chain. rode to dinner, then filled up after another 50 mpg tank.

Rode out to Hutchinson, then removed the rear fender for shipment, tank risers and removed the snorkel

Great bunch of folks here, and very well stocked. Call 'em up, tell 'em what you need, and they send it to you in a nice little USPS box. ALL of our chains and sprockets come from DS, because they're rarely out of stock.
