Almost finished the tail section repainting. Right side tail, top, seat cowl and T bar all finished and wet sanded, cut and polished. Now to get another can of clear to finish the left side tail plastic. Front fender is next to be color matched and then possibly do something to the wheels like a polished lip.

Finished the paint on the tail section for the time being. 4 stages of wet sanding and cut and polish job came out ok. Makes me want to do a better job on my new tank that is sitting on the bench. I already affixed my new HammerGrips though so I think I'll just deal with an OK spraybomb job until I get the tools and $ together to do it properly. It's raining right now and getting dark, so pics will have to wait until tomorrow.

I replaced my SVRP 3.5" rise clipons with some stock GSX-R clipons that my buddy gave me to see if I like the height. so far so good. Gonna give it a couple weeks to see how it is. If all is well, I may have some SVRP clipons for sale that were only on the bike for about a month.

I registered it and pulled the high mount exhaust off and shipped it to another member.

Took the long way over to a bike shop to get it inspected. First time riding in the rain and it handled like a champ.

Flipped over the clubman bars so they are in the LOW position. Gotta get the feel back for the upcoming track day. Made a little bent aluminum bracket and found the exhaust strap and supported my exhaust once again. I haven't had the strap for ~10,000 miles but it was starting to wiggle a tad so I bolted it back up.

Painted my new left footpeg hanger satin black to match the right side. Also pulled the two bros m2 pipe off and hit it with 3 stages of sanding and a high gloss polishing compound. Came out great. Also sanded and polished out the scratches in my duc headlight from the last crash. Good thing the Rally is coming up because I need to get new CROT dragon stickers for the headlight. I had to lose one for the polish job.

I'm scared. I want to paint my front fender to match the rest of the bike but the last two fenders I had got destroyed in crashes. I think I will have to pull the wheel forks and ect off so I can spray my lower triple black

2nd edit: now I'm heading to the garage to hit the radiator gaurds with some fresh paint.
