Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

Took off the tail of my bike. Soldiered some of the wiring that was just butt connected together. Getting ready to do some winter maintenance. Talked to Blair about getting Chain, Sprockets, stands, rivet tool, maybe rear sets, and swing arm spools. Should be buying everything this week and working on the Bumblebee in the New Year!

I had a productive weekend.
-Tightened the steering bearings, cleaned and adjusted the front end controls.
-Installed CRG supersport clutch
-Removed little brackets I made to hold the Vapor.
-Removed Vapor and wired in LED nuetral, oil, and fuel lights (to be mounted in the headlight shell.
-adjusted clipons (I think they are perfect now)
-almost got around to installing the penske. Maybe next weekend when the wave rotors, motovation bar ends, and GiPro arrive. I just noticed I need to do something about those mismatched grips too. *sigh

-installed Tech Spec pads:

Nope, sold it. I'm just going to roll with the idiot lights. I'll reconnect the stock gauge plug so if I ever need to read error codes, I can just plug in a stock cluster(that I don't have either) and trouble shoot. I've ridden for ages with no speedo and a few months with no tach; the sound of the motor is all I need!

Also, added some custom dent and scratch work to my 'other bike.' I cleared the first one like a pro... then crashed into the second.

Part of the www.gergia-cross.com series. That was the first race I did this year (on my SS 29er) in Rome, GA. Some of the best riding I've done this year even though I was up until 5am the previous night drinking. They had the course setup on the levy system by the river with all sorts of off camber turns. The barriers were the best though. On my first lap, someone on the hill shouted "bunny hop it!" as I was approaching the barriers. I thought, "yea, okay. They can't be that close together." I was wrong. I jumped the first barrier into the second and that f'er didn't budge.

Through the woods after I ran over a dude that fell on the climb. (You can see him in the background)

And to keep it on topic, Another shot of the tech spec pads and my leds zip tied to the CRG:

Had a good weekend in that I FINALLY got the emulators off my tool box and in my forks. Also put on new chain/sprockets with the help of mr. danny hull and his chain riveting tool. Threw new oil and filter on the beast in time to do some blocking for the SLO county toy run.

Oh wow...I thought that it was going to be next week. We're looking at doing that ...but maybe we got out schedules off. ??? Or maybe our town is a week behind yours. I won't have the SV, but since I can't play hookie before my flight to NorCal, it'll just be nice to be on a bike! I think I've only ridden 2-up once this year.

hey hey. so lately i've been thinking of throwing some fog lights on the bike cause i always manage to find deer at night. . . well and it gets crazy foggy around here. bah, anyway, i looked over the bike and found that the little mounting spots for the reflectors on the fork are pretty beasty. suz musta wanted to make sure they were definately secure or something... but yeah so i rocked out a couple o lights off o the brackets and they shine pretty nice. they don't actually look out of place so much, but i suppose what i am really tryin to get at is who else has done something like that and what kind o lights didja use? eh.

g'ah! so symmetrical and evenly applied on the tank. I was too eager to add my Tech Specs and one side is lower than the other
You do know you can peel them off an re-apply. It took me about 15 tries to get the second one on in the mirror image of the first. I'm still not sure it's perfect, but I finally gave up with it good enough. Just make sure everything is nice and clean, and when you first start to peel, that the adhesive stays with the pad.

Bought a 525 chain and sprocket kit (15/47), R&K chain rivet tool, silver racing rear sets and swing arm sliders from SVracing parts. Thanks Blair for the good deal! Now I will just wait to get the parts in the mail. Then will install all of them when they arrive and post pictures.

Also finished my shopping for the SVR Christmas exchange.
