2nd 2-up ride with the wife today, this one much longer (about 2 hours total, as opposed to like 40 min round trip yesterday). We were both a ton more comfortable on the bike than yesterday, and, again, had a blast. As long as the grandparents keep comin' round, we may need to make a habit of this. Though I SERIOUSLY need to find a ZX14 shock to put on there now :-/

I forgot to add that I also cleaned and lubed the chain after our ride. Not as sexy, but very important.

Front tire swap to new to me 06-07 Gsxr front wheel with straight front rotors and adjusted shift lever to better position and swapped out to larger 50mm diameter throttle wheel on motion pro quick turn. Now bike is ready for 4/22 NJMP!

Bought a front stand. I was planning on pulling the front wheel off this morning, but found my jackstands to be lacking about 6" of height to get them to the frame sliders, and I wasn't really comfortable putting the engine side covers on the jackstands. So, I figured if I was going to buy something, I may as well buy the right thing:

3. SVRP 3.5" riser clipons
4. Steve's aTRE
5. Galfer SS front brake lines
6. SVRP rearset riser plates installed upside down for more leg room.
7. Pilot Road 3 120/70 up front
8. PainfullySlow's shorty clutch and brake levers

Love every mod and learned alot about the bike in the process on installing them. I was able to ride 2 hours without stopping whereas before an hour was pushing it. Thanks SVR for all the great info!

Well, technically it was yesterday and not today, but I put in a PIAA ultra bright headlight, installed some barkbusters storm handguards, and bought an integrated tail light off ebay and got an admore mini tail light bar for after I put on the fender eliminator kit.

Since it is less than a year old I will be taking that piece of garbage battery back to the dealer for a new one.

It was 50 with 20 mph wind gusts here when I went in. Chilly, but the bike still wins. Tomorrow will be in the 30s... so the car will likely get the nod

32 here and who knows what the wind chill on the interstate was but it was freakin' chilly but the bike won.

swapped tires between wheels in prep for gsxr swap on the K6. its inflated and ready to go. ;D
