I lamented the fact that it's covered in sawdust and waiting on me to get a set of risers from my buddy so I can mount up the bar again and ride it.

I also contemplated selling it, as I'll be getting a VFR soon.
Cover it with a sheet when you're sawing/turning. At least that's what I do.

Yeah. Mine's been in 100 different pieces since January. I'm ready for it to be on the road. Thought I was gonna get to ride it to work today, but turns out I have a coolant leak from a hose not seating properly on the front of the rear cylinder. Gotta tear it down partially again to fix that.

Just changed the front tire, adjusted chain tension, and did an oil change on the motorcycle. I got it mid February with 8,500 miles on it and now have just over 10,000 miles on it. Rear tire to come very soon.

Is it right that it took almost 3qts for the oil change? It was a little more then the 2.5qts the manual says.

I am taking my SV from track to street. I built it as a track bike over the winter and now changed my mind! Look for top quality parts for sale very soon!! Man, this is going to cost me :sbmfacepalm:

Washed, clay bared, and waxed her, then a short ride and a chain lube. Now it looks like rain so she is tucked back in the garage.

I had never used a clay bar before this... man am I sold on them, the whole bike is now smooth as glass its epic.
