Took the rear wheel off so I can drop it off to get a new Conti Road Attack tire mounted tomorrow...

Rode it to work, then school, then home.
Tightened the chain, test-rode it; tightened the chain more.
Went for gas and added a bottle of carburator cleaner.
$12.51
3.2 gallons.

Greased rear wheel bearings - had a new Continental Road attack mounted and balanced on rear wheel and put the wheel back on...

i unbolted the lower subframe bolts to see how it looks with a higher tail

i think it's just a tad too high. i'm gonna play with it and see what i can do.

Changed oil and Filter - Mobil1 15W-50 fully synthetic oil and Purolator ML16818 oil filter.

Installed the Stebel air horn, what a difference. L bracket the unit to lower radiator bolt, threadlock everything, relay under the seat, wiring was pretty simple. Now I'm looking for an excuse to use it.

Rode her till she was on fumes, took home and gave a nice bath. Then disco'd battery and locked her up. Waiting on movers to crate her up and export her back to the US. ;D

Went for a ride with new Conti Road Attacks and tried out homemade bike turntable.

painted mustard rims gold on the bobber

Got Vrod Headlight for the S1 build.

Took off the grab bar, cleaned the rims a little, stared at it while trying to think of what color I want to paint it(has rash from the previous owner).

Took off the clubman bars, removed all the blue painter's tape, reinstalled the stock handlebars and stock mirrors, reconnected all the lights - she's ready to start a new chapter as a commuter-oriented bike. No more track days for the forseeable future. I'm sad and excited at the same time.

Rode it to work through the persisting rain.....despite having to make about ten thousand stops along the way for various reasons....all of which required removing helmet, gloves, etc etc etc.....not exactly ride of the week stuff....
