Working on touching up the paint on the rims. Mounting up some power pures and also have to remount the abs speed sensor ring when I get the rotor remounted.

Almost went to storage to take it out for the day, but didn't want to insure it yet when I won't be taking it out permanently for another month.

Welded the crack in my cowling together, replaced the tail cowling, and put most of it back together.

Added the stock bar-ends on top of of my bar-end mirrors. I actually like the look better, and I suppose this'll protect the mirrors a little in the event of a drop as well.

It'll also make your mirrors more useful because they'll shake less.

YESTERDAY, I hooked up the carbs to the motor, tightend up the bolts to the frame, connected a few wires and said, "This sh** needs to hurry up!"

Put on an R6 radial master cylinder and a set of ASV levers.

Tossed on some new Pit Bull sprockets and cleaned a few more things. Daisy is starting to look like a race worthy machine.

I worked on getting my rear tire aliment good and mounted my new rear signals lights. Also flushed my rad and put new fluid in. Kind of weird on the Rad antifreeze, it was almost like a dark green and that is with distilled water in it. Wondering if the guy who owned it before me just put straight antifreeze in it.
Now it waiting for the snow to go.

No more shovel!

Took about 1.5 hours, I took my time and read the instructions carefully. The nice thing about the OEM is there is no cutting or drilling.

AFAIK, Suzuki discontinued them. They're hard to find. I bought mine from Leesons for $65 including shipping to Hawaii. When I called to order it (call them, their website may or may not list it), they said they had 2 in-stock in black. I got one of them so there may be one more left.

Today was wash the bike day. Liquid ice melt, salt and mud was caked mainly on the lower half, but salt slop made it's way onto the pillion and bodywork. Nasty.

I used Zep orange cleaner on the rear wheel and swing arm. It did a good job. Rinsed that off and washed the bike with Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash. It leaves a nice shine.

Dried it off and went for a little ride to get all the nooks and crannies dry.
