Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

Forgot about all I did this last weekend, now that the next is almost here...

Changed: Plugs, air filter, oil, oil filter, front sprocket, rear sprocket, chain.
Adjusted: Exhaust valves (hair out of spec), clutch pushrod actuator.
Added: some lighting... (Don't hate me, I work for the lights manufacturer. 3 strips, 4.5" long each) - they go red when on the brakes.

I just bought my bike last week with 41,300kms on the clock. While the bike is very clean, its pretty much been sitting idle for the last few years. PO had kept some maintenance up (e.g. yearly Oil change last done Sept 2017 / 300kms ago).
But he has left other things (e.g. Coolant / brake fluids).

So over the weekend I changed the Oil / Oil Filter Filter, Air Filter, Coolant, cleaned out and flushed the Brake lines (masters were full of sludge), replaced the Spark Plugs and the front Brake Pads. I also changed the clip type master link to a rivet type master link. I checked the battery and its seems okay (good voltage and clean terminals).
Its so nice working on a Japanese bike again. So much easier than my KTM !.

Anyway, its running a little better now but the biggest improvement are the brakes which isn't surprising given the state the brake fluid was in.

Noticed my rear was flat Friday night when I got home and then found a stick had punctured it. So Saturday morning, I quickly plugged it and went and got some Road 5's put on. Have to say they feel much better than the Angel ST's .. to me anyway :)

Hopefully I'll get around 16K-20K from them as I have with PR4's on other bikes.

...went and got some Road 5's put on...
I ordered a Road 5 rear for my Triumph Sprint and it should be delivered today. Being a heavy (550-ish lb) sport tourer, I got over 6700 miles from each of the last two PR4 rears I have used. The PR tires wont see my SV though since it is race/track only.

detailed the bike today after getting coolant all over the engine case putting those samco radiator hoses on yesterday. turned out pretty nice.
Those hoses look great though!

Went through the calipers, cleaned out old nasty as brown gunk from both calipers lol. seals were all still in good shape, so I just reused them, replaced the pads that were literally caked in grease...

The braking is night and day! omg! lol first light I tested it out at about 5mph and locked up the front wheel haha! almost fell, but made me soooo happy. There was literally no bite at all with the old greased up pads haha.
