well i just replaced the rear set on the left side & i can not get into second gear for some reason, got any suggestions & she is dead.. i need a new battery i think :sbmfacepalm:
well make sure the rod is pointing up cuz if its downwards you just switched to GP gearing. Try doing 1 down 5 up and see if that helps. That happened to me the very first time i changed the clutch cable and had no idea of what i did.

in the other hand........MY HANDS are sore, full of scratches and brushes but my bike is back to life +250cc extra ^^
TB full service done

Now im glad that after spending like 3 weekends on my spare time im done for now and i can ride with this great weather today. Im just waiting for the sun to ease a little :D
BTW, thnx to you sv-fellas you teached me like 90% of what i needed to learn before doing this.
Got some other tweakings coming but i could just ride for now :D

Put ~100 miles on her, broke in the new front brake pads & chain & sprockets.

I must say, a 15/47 combo on the nekkid is totally dope.

i think the battery is dead, something keeps draining it & i can not get a boost today :s will try to get it charged tomorrow thanks for the info.

Installed my quick release tank and seat pins and gave it a quick once over to make sure there are no surprises for tomorrow, when I will be riding it to work. The weather the next two days is supposed to be pretty good.

so far ive gotten one shape done. i went about everything smarter this time. i cut it out with alot of left over meat and just spent alot of time filing the extra stuff down. then took some emery cloth to the edges. then im going to round the extrnal corners and smooth them out as well. going to bend it, then drill the mounting holes.

sorry for the crappy quality pic

It was a beautiful day in Knoxville so I skipped class and took her out of storage to go on a 100 mile exploration along the Tennessee River... in 63 degree bliss!

Made kissy faces and bought a bunch of stuff to start putting it back together.

I've forgotten what it looks like with a front wheel on. :( *sniff sniff*

I noticed my back tire was toast at work today. After dinner, I moved the bike into the garage, took the back wheel off and removed the tire. New one goes on tomorrow.

NOTE: DEALING WITH TIRES WHEN IT'S 40* IS A PAIN IN THE @SS. THE TIRE ACTS AND FEELS LIKE CONCRETE AND WON'T COOPERATE >AT ALL<!!

Mashed some fingers, but got it off.

Tires that are worn to the limit don't handle very well. I'll be glad to have new rubber!
