Just cut well inside your lines, then grind/file/sand until straight and where you want it.*

*This statement does not imply I am able to actually do this, just that I heard the theory behind it once. ;D

haha yeah to each their own, ya know. although i think i might just play with the saw at work to see how it goes...i havnt used it in a while. but yeah jack, that was my plan...cut less than i need and then take a file or something.

grabbed the rear seat and pegs out of storage for install this weekend. i think its been 3+ years since they have been on.

cute chix asking for a ride will do that i guess :p

you could probably use a spindle sander to smooth out the edges, or even the little one that comes with a dremel kit
Yeah i was planning on using the one with the kit. I didnt have anytime to get to it at work..been mainly focusing on getting my new(to me) cyl head taken apart to clean it, which i will have pics of later. Going to clean the carbon off the valves today.

Wrap the valve stem with electrical tape and chuck it into your drill. Set it to high speed and just hold a wire brush to the valve. It will take seconds for each valve. Use a brass brush if you have one

Moved her out of the garage and cleaned her. I rode it yesterday and was embarrassed due to how dirty she was. I also posted some items for sale on here. Pazzo Levers, Arai Helmet XL, Dainese Air-2 Jacket... Take a look!!

got the head taken apart yesterday, cleaned it today. i got so aggravated looking for someone with the right valve spring compressor or someone to do it that i finally just jigged up on the hydraulic press at work, cut up a socket and took it apart my own way. heres some pics.

New chain is on, as are the new sprockets, new tires, new 90 degree valve stems, new brake pads (thanks Blair), new grips, and the clutch is adjusted.

:thumbsup::thumbsup: Travis.

I will be buying a couple of tires during the season start sales as I will probably need them by June.

Was going to go with Pirelli Angels again but think I will stick with the Conti Motions.

I do have brake pads and SS front lines to put on also but that's a whenever deal.
