Installed my Ricor rear shock

 

Powder coated my front rim, pressed new bearings and seals in, installed galfer rotors, got my forks back from TWF and got those put back on. Worked on my custom sub frame some more, busy night.

 

Brought something to keep it company while in recovery.

 

My buddy Chad came over and we finished fitting the R6 fairings onto my SV650 tonight. It's gonna look bad ass. Finished welding in the bung for my auto tuner. I had to keep him busy before his surprise 40th BDAY PARTY!!!!!

 

Finished my race bike yesterday. Now I have to wait 41 days to rife it.

 

Finished up repairing my fairings. The process went better then expected! Cracks are fixed and scraps are now gone. Next step is painting. Trying to decide on keeping with the same color or switching the entire bike to a new color. The tanks paint needs some love as well as it has some minor scratches. Guess I now have to make up my mind.

 

If you can swing it, my personal experience says new color. I love the '09 blue, but it's apparently a ridiculously hard color to match. I've decided that if I need to paint again, I'm going the 2010 Canadian white with the dark blue stripes.

 

Fit my R6 fairings to my sv today. Trimmed a bit here and there and have to do some fiberglass work to make clearance for the exhaust. Yamazuki.......

 

Checked the air pressure in the tires.

 

Did a throttle body sync. Now we are supposed to get 4-8 inches of snow Wednesday :facepalm:

 

Finally got the bike master drag bars on and did the mufflerectomy. Next up is fender eliminator, turn signals and rim tape.

 

Fitted some new levers as the stock ones were beat up by the previous owner dropping the bike. Peeled the PO's plastidip off the tank to reveal the beautiful yellow paint as well.

After not riding since Monday before last, I commuted to work on it today. Yay!

 

I wish I could commute to work but these 40 mph winds all week have prevented that. It's warm enough to ride but the EF-1 speed winds are not fun to ride in.

 

Waited for the "nope it's not Winter" snow.

Yeah, I wish someone else would give me the tires. Lol. Just gotta wait a week. Good thing I have a reserve bike.

 

Are the PR3s good? I can get a new set installed for $300

 

The pr3s are great, the pr4s are a little better in rain.

 

Swapped my bars over to bikemaster superbike bars. Pics on in a minute.

I've heard good things about PR3s but the PR4s are astounding. If you can, I would spring for those.
