Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

I installed USB charger, changed oil and fixed rear brake light switch spring that needed little stretching to not pull the switch all time.

The USB connector is coupled with UBEC (it's a 5V regulator used in radio controlled vehicles), a relay and a switch to bypass the relay if needed to charge something when engine not running. I mounted the connector under the left side fairing.

Bike had intermitten starting problem, fuel pump won't prime, code C042. Traced the problem out to be the green plug, the yellow/orange wire for security specifically. Apparently the previous owner had fixed the green plug by moving the red wire (constant hot supply) to a separate blade connector. I am finishing with the other 3 wires using 3 slots off these European style terminal strip from Radioshack. This one is rated for 12AWG and 30A. I already direct-wired the headlight and the horns, so I think I'm good there. If this proves unreliable, I would just crimp the thing next time around. So far so good though, the vibration hasn't knocked it loose yet.

Purposely ran it out of gas in prep for shipping in a week. The light started flashing at 180.4mi then, with continued non-conservative riding, went solid at 204.5mi. I parked it with 216.4mi on the trip and it still took over an hour to idle the rest of the fuel out of the tank. Tip here: raise the front of the tank a few inches to get all the fuel out.

Took it to Thunderhill west, for the first track day only on that side instead of the full 5 mile Thunderschleife.
Had a good time, and met some awesome people including Dan Sewell, who most people would recognize from these photos we've all seen: http://dangerismymiddlename.com/archives/3222
He was a super friendly guy and great to work with. In the first session out I spotted him going round and trying to show different people proper lines here and there when he would pass them as most people were trying to learn the track for the first time. I found him in the pits before the second session and got talking to him and realized he was sponsored by TWF, and then recognized his helmet from the pictures and he gave me the whole story about those races.
After spending some time riding with him, I gained a lot more confidence in the track and ended up moving up a group and banging it around with guys that I thought would be a lot quicker than me.
I also got some more tips on setting up my suspension properly for my needs from the guys at catalyst reaction who were also super helpful and easy to work with.

I hear ya'. I just cleaned and lubed my golden chain and I kept repeating to myself: I'm not a douche, I'm not a douche.

I have been so busy this summer I haven't taken the time to do my planned mods. But knowing that I had a 300mi trip this weekend a couple things had to be dealt with. Installed 3.5in swatt risers, and zx14 shock. Made for a decent ride, but compared to my friends corbin on his fz6 the oem gel seat is a total piece of s*** (my bike is way more fun and sexy but his is more comfortable). So right now I am in the market for a used corbin and some longer brake lines so I can take full advantage of the 3.5in rise instead of like 2 3/4in rise!

I put on my new to me Delkevic stubby that I got for a bargain on Craigslist. Can't wait to hear it on the ride to work tomorrow.
*Note to self* That angle grinder you thought didn't work? Do yourself a favor and try it again before hacking off the stock exhaust with a freakin hacksaw.
*Note to self Note to self* If it decides to work, do yourself a favor and change out of your flip-flops unless you like black burns on your pinky toe. D'OH.
