Rode to work...Took all I had not to just pass my job and keep riding!!

Went from this...

Re-re-installed my front wheel. I've found that alining that right fork bottom comes down to "touch" to keep it from binding.

Also wired up a new radar detector with one of those screech speakers to eliminate the ear piece. So far so good - I can hear it at 80mph with the throttle open.

Rode the bike for a while. When I got home, my motosliders were waiting on the porch. It's gonna rain all day here tomorrow, so I know what I'll be doing!

Took apart the headlight assembly... and realized that I need to replace the ring, can't unbend it :(

Made a bracket and mounted my Nikon 15 optical 720P zoom camera on it. Bracket hangs from top radiator bolt in an L shape and removable. Dunno how it is going to work with vibration, but the angle catches along the edge of the front tire from under the left turn signal. I had to get my tools out of the rain, so I didn't get to test it, except for a little neutral throttling.

New tires front and rear=new bike.

While I had the wheels off I took the opportunity to clean the swingarm and forks in areas not easily accessible when the wheels are on.

Yee-OUCH. Sorry to hear about that MountainWilliam. I just repaired the damage from my wreck a couple weeks ago. Luckily, I was unscathed and the bike was only cosmetically damaged.

Replace left rear body panel
Replaced dubtec's bent FE with Evotech
Replaced R6 throttle tube with stock SV one
Cut tang off side stand

started drawing it in AutoCAD

new grips (renthal), rear sprocket (45T AFAM), and cleaned/lubed the brake lever pin because it was starting to stick a bit.

In replacing the rear sprocket, I found that whoever installed the 520 chain/sprockets installed the washers on the wrong side of the sprocket... I'm pretty surprised I haven't noticed it before but oh well.
