Met some local riders @ Starbucks and hit the hills. Just as we got to the beginning of the really fun twisty turnoff, we hit snow! We turned around and went back the way we came. Got back and found my front reservoir was snapped but I got lucky and found a replacement for under $20 on Ebay. She's starting to break and wear a lot of things and it's getting really annoying! LOL.

Blood transfusion, decided to try Rotella-T 5/40 synthetic. Installed a set of Motoslider no cuts, OEM sliders were both cracked at the welds, garbage. Took it for a spin around the block :D

Up next, TechSpec tank pads, SVRacing parts rearsets, HH pads, Racetech fork springs and (if they come in this week) Apex adjustable clip-ons, will swap the fork springs out when the clip-ons arrive...

rode it for the first time this year

Put a freshly charged battery in it, dumped some seafoam in the tank, didn't even bother dusting it off, oddly enough it started on the first tap of the starter button (1st time since october) let the fluids circulate and drove over to the gas station to top it off and then proceeded to rip all around town.... think half the people who own bikes in the city were doing the same thing.

Then took it home, dusted it off and proceeded to do the same thing with my Marauder....

-synced the carbs

-took off the skate board deck tape tank-grips-- too abrasive only get about 3000mi out of a pair of pants. have some tec-specs to go on sometime later

- checked the air pressure in the tires

Hi beam wasn't working at first this year. Narrowed it down to a broken relay in my EB harness (unusual). Talked to Jim and he was kind enough to send a new one free of charge. Great product and customer service!

Today i changed coolant as the dealer mechanic didn't bother at the service interval. (paid over 500USD and all they do is change the fluids, well, not even that)

Washed and waxed, mounted a Corbin seat. :)

Went to my friends shop and used his heat gun to remove the tank sticker that the original owner never took off from 2004. Just need some goop remover to get off the glue that was all around the edges. Any recommendations?

Removed the rediculous reflectors, installed a Battery Tender connector (salvaged from the CBR), put insurance on it, and started pre-work for a DIY fender eliminator.

Bought a new set of pilot powers, rotella T6 syn oil, k&n oil filter. Gonna do some work this weekend

Installed bar end mirrors and took off the 'antenna' mirrors. I'm not positive how I feel about it looks-wise, but I can see a whole lot better behind me with the new setup.
