Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

Sync'd the throttle bodies using a homemade manometer

Just a tip: You don't need to remove the airbox to synch the TB's, and in fact get a more true reading with the airbox installed. Also...did you install extensions on the vacuum nipples so you can do this again at regular intervals without all the stress of trying to reach those darn inaccessible things?

Mine has 6-8" lengths capped with screws tied to other hoses on each side so synch checking is a 2 minute deal.:)

I put on some stock 2nd gen dog bones today. The PO had some PSR lowering links and one of them was cracked where it bolts to the bike. It was such a pain in the ass...one of the sleeves that came out of the linkage was completely stuck to the bolt so it took some persuasion and ingenuity with a table vice to get the sleeve off. Unfortunately I don't have a table vice but the people at ACE hardware were nice enough to let me use their's out back.

drained and flushed coolant, installed new Delkevic radiator. painted radiator side guards black and re-installed. filled er up with new coolant. installed new banjo bolt and crush washers and did all the necessaries to get the front brakes working again. got rid of S clipons, re-installed risers, installed Superbike bars. might have to trim the bars down a bit, cables are all at their limits.

and that was AFTER I spent all day building some nice handmade mortis-and-tenoned windows for my uncle that just cut his fingertips off.

had to make up for saturday somehow. at least I got some stuff done and the bike is ready to roll again.

I installed some new supposedly 4000k 'ultra white' lights that are just as yellow as the stock headlamps. I then installed the 194 LED white lights for the marker lights and license plate light. They're extremely dim and blue color, not white. Tomorrow I'll reinstall the old lights and return the sh!tty lights.

I also replaced my single Gerbings heat troller with a Warm 'N Safe dual wireless heat troller. I mounted the remote on my tank box. This is MUCH better than the old single wired troller I was using.

Re-painted my clutch cover. It got all rashed up in the crash. Duplicolor Stainless Steel (in a rattle can) is really REALLY close to a perfect match. Anyhow, it's good enough for government work. Then I got a run in it, so had to wet-sand it out and start over.

I installed a new windscreen, changed the coolant, installed new spark plugs, put the tank bra on it, removed the seat and put on the rear seat cowl, bled the brakes, swapped license plates(yeahhhh), adjusted my TPS, installed my TREe, adjusted my clutch freeplay, got some rust off of my forks....today was a good day

I had a similar day to proroof, slightly less eventful.

I installed my TRE, almost did my TPS but only had regular torx not security =/ picking them up tomorrow.

Completely re-mounted my headlight, it had been rattling and jiggling around since I bought it 4 months ago. Turns out the internal nuts had jiggled loose and were just rattling around in the light fixture. Got it remounted real nice, much better.

Also installed an R6 Throttle Tube. I lost functionality of my throttle side heated grips unfortunately, but the tube is worth it, so much smoother and less effort.

I gotta also admit, Thanks a TON to Steve for the easy-plug and play TRE mod. The bike is SO much smoother/more manageable around town. It completely changes the way the bike feels. Couldn't ask for better. Going up Rt 1 over the golden gate to Pt Reyes tomorrow, cant wait.
