Adjusted TPS. Am going to have to replace the screws, but got it together for now.
Re-positioned the 12v adapter to under seat, and routed a charger from there to the handlebars for the GPS/phone. Need to get BT in a helmet someday so I can have ride tunes.

 

Went to use my new carburetor pilot screw driver to finally set my idle mixture, and it didn't fit. So, I braved the scalding heat of a running engine , and with a short screw driver, began tuning the pilot circuit by ear.
I set the idle low and screw out to 3 turns and began turning in, then out; however engine rpms never changed, and I'm stumped, and my hand is nearly burned.

Finally got around to finding an inline fuse for my r/r conversion.....annnnd forgot to get solder -_-




So I decided to bust out the old dremel and clean up the tail. Cut off the bars under the tail since I don't ever plan on putting a net or anything on, then went to town on trimming the excess plastic of the under tail. Not 100% happy, but it looks better for now.

where/how did you mount the exhaust?

 

I made a bracket to mount a new plate light so hopefully the po-po will leave me alone.

I had to mix and match hardware to get the bar ends to fit properly, but everything is nice and secure, and I didn't have to dremel or trim anything. Test ride was fantastic, it really makes a difference with the amount of wind I feel. Hopefully I'll be able to get away with these and my Olympia winter gloves to extend my riding season.

Fixed a niggling electrical issue (blown fuse on myvheated grips from when installing the 12v adapter.)

Bought a pair of stainless 6mm allen cap screws and washers to replace the stock safety torx tps anchor screws.

Added lube to the chain.

 

TPS adjustment, it's a whole new bike, unbelievable.

 

Bent my left clip on and obliterated another left woodcraft rearset. God bless spares

 

Put it up for sale on craigslist. I hope I don't have V-Twin withdrawals later after it sells.

put a set of termis on my buddy's Ducati Diavel. OMFG what a job... 6 hours. dealer wanted $600 so I figured I'd hook him up.

gotta pull apart all the tank cover stuff, which is a whole bunch of tiny screws and very limited space. Swap out the ECU (yes, the set comes with a new ECU ). Then had to pull apart the bellypan area and drop the oil cooler to get to the front header. Took a bit of a shortcut and just left the butterfly cable on (otherwise another hour to get to the other side of the cable to disconnect it). At least the rear header stays so didn't have to take apart the whole bike.

also, something about a $3500 exhaust pipe was a bit terrifying "don't drop this, don't drop this, don't drop this"

On the upside, sounds great, didn't break anything, and didn't have any problems.

Pulled it out of the garage ,Got my new Sticker from The BMV. Thinking about washing and waxing it .

 

Finally installed the Zenrails I bought a few months ago. Had to do some drilling and dremeling to get the plates to fit properly, and they're a tiny bit off from each other, but they'll do the job.

I'll be using the plastic rail plates as mounting points for my Ogio soft bags, but I want to cobble together a mounting system for a pair of Pelican side cases.

 

Changed the clutch slave cylinder. The seal on the new one is way bigger than stock. So i think it will solve the leak problem.

Stupid SV1000S. Don't have the time to ride you, and when i do, you screw up with me.

I love you so much.

 

Found the Dremel at work and finally got around to hacking off some of the whale tail
