I let her rest in the garage, away from the rain. She's tired after a 6 hour ride Saturday.

On sunday, I had a petrol disaster and sprayed about a pint over the tank. No probs with stock paint, not so good with singlepack, I got it washed off fast but the laquer slightly melted and reset, with loads of fish-eyes. So I spent tonight sanding it back I knew I was getting thin on the clear and to no great surprise I'm through it in one place.

Ah well. The paintwork was getting redone this winter anyway. I just didn't intend to destroy it beforehand

Installed a 14-tooth front sprocket (1 tooth smaller), along with a nice, new lock washer for the nut.

Bike feels peppier and quicker in acelleration, with the trade-off being the shift points reached sooner.
No surprise there.

I like it.
Makes 4th gear a better choice and more effective for lots of the situations I ride in, and 4th gear is a bread-and-butter gear for me on this bike, it seems.

I secured my gauges......again. This time with those lock threads. Also checked a bunch of bolts that might come loose. Rode into work, and avoided the popo like the plague since I couldn't get my DZC license plate bracket yesterday, stupid post office.

Cleaned front sprocket area/cleaned chain/lubed chain
Tightened loose fairing bolts/located where 2 of 5 "mystery" bolts fell from off fairings
