Cleaned and lubed chain, cleaned wheels (were so gross after riding through the rain!), did an oil change, cleaned under the tail, frame and engine. Went for a ride!

I rode with Yakimushi to the Kinzua dam Yesterday. Total round trip for me was 392 miles. Took a little ride with the wife today to finish the weekend off right at 449 miles. Doesn't get much better in my world!:hello2:

Took off both wheels, cleaned rotors, calipers, sprocket, rims/tires and fasteners. First time doing so, took my time. Lubed what parts needed it. Washed, oil change, lubed chain.

Saturday I ordered a new conti road attack for the rear and stainless lines for the front brakes and new brake pads all around.

Sunday I installed my new .85kg sonic springs and 20wt oil

Got my wheels back on after getting the Sport Attacks mounted, and went for a ride.

Painted the rashed plastics with spray on truck bed liner and clear coat. Tomorrow I will hopefully throw the new tank on.

Took it to a measured km stretch of road to check speedo accuracy against the stopwatch. Didn't have to worry - the LEO's were there with their little radar gun. A polite enquiry resulted in one of the gentlemen volunteering to check my speed with the gun. 49km/hr on the clock checked out at 47km/hr on the gun - a little under 5% over-read. MUCH less than some posts on here would indicate.......just as well I found out. The dudes claiming that SV speedos over-read by 10% may well have got me into trouble......
