Then i rode the kawi around and this thing seems to help people see me. So, now i'm not just another "punk on a bike" anymore.

Not my SV but my girlfriends. We removed her lowers and all the fairing stays, ordered frame sliders and a new front and rear tire.

Stripped and cut up a used passenger seat I bought recently. Fitted a Givi universal adaptor plate to it, and took it to have the thing recovered. Then I cut the handles off of the passenger grab rail so I can affix the seat with it's (removable) Givi top box to the bike.
The top box will fit via the modified passenger seat, flush with the tail of the bike and it's weight distributed directly over the rear axle. I'll be able to ride to work with my duty belt, gear, and lunch now..... then remove it and return my other passenger seat in place when I want to ride with nothing on the bike.

Pictures to follow..... when I get the recovered seat back Monday.

made my ghetto camera mount, it mounts to the mirror arm with a u hook and a beveled clamp and some bolts. when i first put it together it was at a real sharp angle, so all pictures or video would be angled, so i pulled the u hook off again, clamped it in the vise, and tapped only 1 end of the hook with a hammer, bent it just enough that i was able to keep the same beveled clamp and it made the mount level.

also, tried putting on a vista cruise control but it just doesn't hold the grip tight and allow the throttle tube to snap shut without adjusting the nut for it every time. i'll figure it out later but i am a little disappointed in it.

Put on some Techspec snake skins, installed an Evotech fender eliminator and some Shogun bar end sliders. Waiting on my MotoSliders for the frame and my T-Rex stands with spool/swingarm sliders to show up next week so I can install them to and be done for the season.

Fitted my Cortech Sport bags n top pack today with my homebrewed saddlebag support.

Yes they are fully loaded so I could get a feel for how they would affect the ride.

Ignore my gorilla welds. They are ugly but strong like ox.
