I put a plug in to the batttery so I can trickle charge it without having to yank the seats.

Then I built a little aluminum shelf like affair up by the left mirror to mount my radar detector but still need to wire that in.

Then I installed a Sink-No-Bob. The SV is one of the only bikes I have seen in quite a while that does have a fairly good sized metal kickstand pad to keep them from sinking in, but I always seem to find soft spots to park on so figured bigger is always better. I used the "Sport" model one and it about doubled the kickstand pad size.

Mailed seat to Spencer...no riding for a bit :(
Volley,

He'll have it back to you before you know it and you'll like the results. Give it a little time to break in and you'll realize you're riding much longer whithout pain. I think I could still use a sheepskin pad for the really long rides but it is so much better than stock!

Maybe he's changed his design since then but...

Honestly I didn't notice as much of a difference between the stock seat and Spencer's seat mod. I'd say it's comparable to the OEM gel seat.

Why not? Well I swapped SV's with GTV360, and he didn't tell me that he had Spencer's seat mod done to it. Yes it is a little more comfortable. No it's not nearly as good as a Sargent.

Interesting. I'm actually looking forward to getting the seat back. I am height challenged so just the lowering alone will make me happy. The seat mod and some different handlebars should make my rides much more comfy. We shall see. At a fraction of the cost of a Sargent it's worth a try.

A fraction of the cost, and a fraction of the comfort. ;)

Got the bolts for my Vortex bar end sliders and put them on the bike. Unfortunately, the only well kitted golf store in the area has gone out of business, so I wasn't able to get the lead tape I wanted to wrap around the spacers. I'll find some this weekend.

Today I put my newly painted wheels on, mounted the GSXR frontend. changed front and rear sprockets, swapped all controls from old clipons, installed new chain, mounted and balanced my tires, installed frame sliders, put fairings on, and went on a ride. Now to figure out my electronics issue causing the bike to shutdown????

Put on my new Chain/Sprockets over lunch (from SVRacingparts):
