Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.
What did you do to your SV today? (mods, farkles, maintenance, etc)

I'm in the middle of buying a 03 sv650 with 01 gsxr100 front end and ohlin rear shock, was previously written off and was supposed to have repair certs sorted today. Unfortunatly its now off to another workshop to get the front end swap certified so will be at least next week before I can get my hands on it.
No, cycle gear has the hid kits 50% off. So I jumped at the chance since I needed 2 kits. Did both headlights for around $100. I guess its a pretty good deal, it works on the high beams too. Nice and clear!
Installed great SVRacingParts swingarm sliders! easy install, great service, and great product!
only prob is the only "color temp" they have is 6000... too blue for me... its painfully annoying at night when someone's blue HIDs are blinding me... i wouldn't wanna do that since i know how bad it is...
looks hella good on the bike though! when i find a 4300k kit, i'll consider it.
The new garage is a complete mess! I know my wife's bike is somewhere between that bunch of boxes and all that old furniture that we need to get rid off... and my bike barely fits in that tiny available space left... if only I didn't have this much work these days, I would clean everything up and give them (the bikes) a worthy, nice and cozy home.
got my '03 motor in the mail...doing a cam swap, rotor/stator swap, tapping the PAIR system, throwing on my gen1 covers. Stuffing the motor this weekend. Oh and changed the gearing to 14/46 520 setup! So much lighter!
Finally got rid of the crappy Acerbis cyclops and went back to the SV's roots!
Went from this,
To this,
Also got a chain gaurd installed as well as a new Gauge. I'm in Love with the mini flyscreen and single round look. Next saturday I'm tearing down a 07 GSX-R 750 and taking the front to complete here face lift.
Then its off to paint (Ducati Pearl White) and she will be complete... Until I find something else to do to it haha.
new chain/sprockets and looked over my tires. was going to wait to order a new set, but they're getting to that point where it really needs to be done.
making the switch from dunlop q2's to pilot road 2's. ive been hearing excellent things about them and hopefully they'll last a bit longer than the 8K miles i get out of the dunlops usually.
Last sunday, met up with another SV rider locally and flushed the rear brake hydro, installed front pads, installed rear pads, cleaned up the for seal leak, cleaned the air filter
I have been very busy with the SV this weekend. I put a new sprocket on the rear, got the cam swap done on the new motor, swapped over the rotor and stator. I put on my new black and red levers. Cleaned the carbs out and stuffing the motor right now. Should be fired up this afternoon!
What did I do on my SV today? Well, I bought it... Great bike. (Technically bought it yesterday and have been working on the niggles and naggles today.)
Trying to jack up my forum count to 25 to purchase a WTB 06 Front Fender (Red) right now. Mine's faded on the front.
I tried to repair the damage to some wiring from using Scotch Locks. I need to get one of the conductors out of a plug, but can't get it to budge. (It's the tail light lead that goes to a 3 conductor plug.) I want to put some heat shrink tubing over the part of the wire that the Scotch Lock destroyed, but can't get the wire loose from the plug.
Rode it to work for Ride to Work day, Im about to ride it home too.
