Installed a zx10 shock and a hugger, then went for a nice long ride.

Emulators should be here within a few days.

In honor of The Mad Hatta...

I moved it from one side of the drive way to the other so I could finish cleaning up the section of my lawn in front of it without kicking rocks at it.

Well, not today exactly, but I rode mine all around Road Atlanta all weekend watching the AMA Superbike/Supersport/Daytona Sportbike races. Three of us camped out in my friend's toy hauler. We had an AWESOME time! I'll definitely be back next year.

After taking a 200 mile 2-up ride with my wife yesterday, came home and did oil change and GP shift conversion. GP was hella easy...don't understand why some people have such a hard time with it.

Today, I worked on my rear turn signals a little more and modified the passenger seat for my wife. I added 4 inches to the width, used a flexible board for the seat section and padded it with gel pad from Pro Pad. Looks really corny on my bike, but my wife likes it. My first attempt to wrap it with vinyl came out pretty bad...first time sewing double turn seams. I'll try again next week.

Got my shorty Delk slip-on mounted after having to use a hacksaw to get the OEM one off. Fired it up at 9:30p.m. and enjoy watching the fireworks come out of the back! Sounds awesome!

Test road the **** outta her :)

Latest brake line torque seems to be enough, new suspension does wonders and my left bar end mirror was, apparently, not tightened enough..

Installed my veypor with an underseat switch-almost died trying to calibrate the gear ratios. It is a cool gadget though.

stared at it.

looked at it.

thought about washing it..

while looking at it.

started 'er up..

just to hear her run.

washed a bit of it.

washed the rest of it

Wait a minute.. no I didn't!! I rode the flying f**k out of it, like I do everyday. Because I'm not a f**king loser.

In honor of dark matter.

I rode 65 miles in the rain, Victoria to Nanaimo BC, Then picked up the rack for the side bags and rear top bag. Took the ferry to Gabriola, rode 12 miles down to the bottom of the Island. At home I installed all the pieces. Then I tied on my two small side bags. Tomorrow I will bolt on a piece of plywood for the rear top bag. Later I will change that to a piece of aluminum. Tomorrow I will put some air in the tyres, oil the chain and wash my baby.
Then go up Island for a noon meeting with the bike gang.
Thursday I will ride back to Victoria.

This thread has become the most boring thread on svr. There are more posts like the ones above than real posts that people want to read. I want to hear about TODAY. Nobody gives a sh!t about TOMORROW. This thread has become post-whore central. "Hey everybody, want to rack up your post count, come to this thread!" I seriously doubt this is what the OP had in mind, and it makes an otherwise interesting thread, incredibly dull.

We are the roach killer, you are the roach. It's your presence that requires us. If whining from us gets rid of the "I didn't actually do anything to my SV today" posts, it will be worth it.

Go back and read what this thread started out as. It certainly wasn't a "dear diary" for anything remotely involving your motorcycle. It was awesome!

Short version just for you.

" I installed a rack for saddle bags and rear top bag on my SV1000S "

Did you miss that part?

I'm hoping that a lot of the "I rode it to the mailbox" posts will subside as the weather improves moving through Spring into Summer.

I'm
the roach? We all have our own preferences, I guess.

I'd rather hear that you washed your bike today or that you're thinking about having sex with the ignition keyhole tomorrow than I want to hear about how incredibly disappointed you are that this thread didn't live up to it's potential and whining about how awesome you could make it if people would follow your rules.

I have a low tolerance for the whining, I guess.

You're welcome to make your own forum where you can make all your awesome threads and enforce all your great rules. Otherwise, pull up your big girl panties and move along.
