Rode her for 120 miles (highway) I've never been so cold in my life.

Oh and as I was heading down the last stretch of highway, I got passed by a subaru sti doing around 150, I couldn't even believe how fast it was going....
it made the other cars around look like they were stopped!

1. Changed oil 2.4 Liters of Rotella T6 :)
2. Adjusted chain (The axle slipped by like 1-2mm screwing up alignment after 2.5k miles)
2. Cleaned and Lubed chain :D Like new now (At 3k miles pretty much no tight spots and sprockets look like new)
3. Cleaned/wiped down the whole bike head to toe.
4. Checked tires/pressure/brakes
5. Tightened stupid stock mirrors.

Ready for the week ahead :D

i hung the rear end by the rafters and started tearing her apart to swap out the rear shock. i was going to hold off for a while but after rebuilding the front forks with new .90 sonic springs one trip around the block told me to do it now. lol

Finnaly did my TPS adjustment. (Yesterday actually) Now I'm not going to be dramatic and say my bike feels like a new bike. But...my bike feels almost like a new bike. Such an improvement! So smooth. No jerkiness. It's fantastic! And it was a lot of fun doing the adjustment. Highly recomend it if you havn't done it yet. Mine was set at 3,100 RPM and got it right at the 1,450 RPM target.

Installed an '05 GSXR 600 front end. Everything went smoothly until I realized that one of the brake rotors (purchased a complete wheel off of eBay) was warped beyond use. Project stalled until new rotors and pads arrive... Looks sweet though!

Welcome back. :)

Me, I mounted up a fresh set of Pilot Road 2's and replaced my hall effect sensor with a magnetic-only type instead of the geartooth type. I ran into some issues last year picking up the rotor bolts in addition to the magnet I have to trigger the sensor.

I also called and had the insurance re-instated, so I'm truly ready-to-ride....finally. :)

Thanks! I'm using a pilot power 2ct for the front and can't wait to get it on the road.

Finally rode it back home from my dad's where it was for the past 2 months while I worked on it. It was chilly, but I'm happy to be back on two again. R6 throttle tube and GP shift with a clutch adjustment make it ride so much smoother, can't wait for more sunny days

Now would be a good time to practice your rotor straightening skills. I've bent a few back from completely unusable to "I feel alright riding this on the track but it's probably not my best idea."

picked up some plexus at the local cycle-gear, gave her a good rub down and then a few quick spins round the neighborhood. then talked for an to a guy that watched me "glide" (as he put it) into the driveway. said he liked the little to no sound of my girl. lol, haven't even pout her on the road legalized yet and shes already getting stares and catcalls. made of awesome.
