I cleaned the rear wheel. It gets very dusty, for some reason. And there's always a little chain lube that sticks here and there. A paper towel with some lighter fluid squirted on it got it looking good.

Did my round trip commute to work and back. 50 miles of twisties and post card grade scenery. And almost no traffic. Sweeeeet!!

cleaned up the arrestor. Not too thrilled with the trapp body, oxidizes rapidly. So , hit it with the wheel and reapplied some rattle can ceramic. Been out pricing cerama coating the exhaust system come shortly hopefully.

Applied my rim tape on the wheels, it was the roll with the applicator. Within 2minutes, I ****** up the applicator, this piece of crap was thrown in the garbage.

Took the tape roll, took patience and help of one of my friends, and I managed to install it rather cleanly!!

Installed Steve's TRE and then took it out for a 100+ mile ride. Rode it like I stole it. PERFECT weather!

took it for a 150+ mile ride with the missus on the back, now just over 18,000 miles :| lol

front springs are a lot better now but i think i need a touch more pre load on the back end

FINALLY got to the garage and did a little work on my bike. Installed new woodcraft 2" rise clip-ons, and actually started it. I know. Awesome, right?

Maybe tomorrow I'll actually get to ride it. :)

Replaced front forks seals and oil on my gsxr front end. What a cake job, even without a helper when compressing the springs. Hooray ratchet straps.

Cleaned the bugs off of every surface on the front. Lots of bugs.

Lubed the chain; 75w/90 gear lube applied with a toothbrush. This is working very well.

Checked the front end to see if there was any slop in the steering head bearings. They seem to be OK.

Cleaned tar off of parts of the motor. We've got lots of chip seal roads out here in the country and tar gets thrown up by the front tire and it sticks on the motor and melts there. It's a real mess. It happens year round and there's a lot of build up. I tried naphtha, but there has to be something better. I'm going to try some spray on stuff that is supposed to work on bugs and tar. We'll see...

Installed new Speigler brake lines. Hopefully try them out tomorrow.

Rebuilt most of her and started her up for the first time in 6 months. ;D

Today i'll do the windscreen, quick release tank pins and testing in general before my first ride this year..!
