Mine got a good cleaning today! I tried Simple Green on the rear wheel grunge and was really happy about how easily it cleaned up!

Had to take it for a ride to "make sure it was completely dried off".....

Tightened the chain and cleaned out a bunch of black, sticky crap from around the front sprocket and cover. The chain should have been tightened earlier and I'm wondering if it's a combination of road grime, chain lube, and plastic worn away from the piece that covers the swing arm just behind the front sprocket.

Also appears the rear wheel was a bit out of alignment as I adjusted the chain adjusters equally and the rear sprocket wasn't even close to being in the middle of the chain and the measurements weren't coming up right when getting the distance from the swing arm bolt to the rear axle. Doesn't look like anything was too out of whack from the mileage I put on it, but hopefully things are even better now.

Today I changed the brake fluid, put on new front turn signals, put on new bar end mirrors, and tighten my chain :)

Then i took it for a ride to make it all dirty so i can wash it tomorrow ;)

I also tightened my chain today, but for the first time. I was kind of confused at first, mainly because once I had it all nice, I tightened the castle nut and the chain tightened up for some reason :confused3:.

Also chainged the oil (Rotella T6) and the oil filter (fram). I didnt put enough into it at first because I didnt take the the filter into account. Never pressed the kill switch so hard once I saw the smoke....next week-brakes!

Took it out for a ride, it runs good ;D

Polished the forks, bars, shiny bits around the headlight, and Viper can. Checked the oil, brake fluids, and air filter. Got rid of the NESBA sticker on the front fender.

I need to get a few bolts to replace on the bike. The phillips pattern stripped faster than soft butter.

Ran the wiring to my GPS from the terminal block, only to discover the dock is shot and won't charge the thing. Hoping I can get a new dock delivered before the rally.

Then after reassembling the tail plastics, washed and waxed her, cleaned, lubed and adjusted the chain. Put a sticker on the swingarm. This one is from last year, but I couldn't get a clean shot of the new one on the other side.

Replaced the left side brake line (pain). Fixed a turn signal that wasn't same gen and got the airbox on. Waiting for the neighbor to move her car so i can replace brake fluid and rebuild the rest of the bike :)

Shuffled some snow away from my parking space. Roads are fine at daytime now. Just 1m of snow covering my exit......

WOW...that thing looks like a TV set:p

I installed my High Mount Viper (shortied);D , worked on prepping the Twin Shack body work for paint, some general maintenance, test rides, and made a laundry list of things that still need to be done:rolleyes:

Tightened up some radiator hose couplings that were starting to leak a little. Cleaned, lubed, and adjusted my chain. Also installed Steve's aTRE.

Took off the gel seat and put on the stock seat. Trying to see which one is more comfortable for me.

First commute of the season. Felt good to have the Parkway pretty much to myself on the way in. Did the Harley rev it in the tunnel thing, good for a giggle. Took the long way home. Almost missed getting the kid off the bus.

Rode it around the parking lot (day 3 of owning my first bike) and got my first "Hey nice bike!" I was so excited I may have pooped a little.

EDIT: That carbon fiber tank pad looks sweet.
