i order frame sliders, fender eliminator, HID kit, stickers, bar ends, tank protector.

And yesterday put on new/matching brake/clutch levers.

horray for spending my whole paycheck with 2 weeks till the next one!

Adjusted the TPS on my SV1. Took longer to take the seat off and prop up the tank than to make the adjustment. Quite a bit better under 3K RPM though. Bike was really lurchy before. I thought it was just the torque of the 1000. Nope. Bad fueling I guess.

I saw a suspicious looking stain on the right side of the front cylinder when I got to work.

The fluid that made the stain had evaporated. When I cleaned it off, I found that it was water soluble. I traced it to a leaky coolant hose behind the front cylinder. It's almost impossible to get to, but I tightened the loose clamp. Hopefully the leak is fixed.

Changed my oil & filter. I'm off work for Good Friday tomorrow... heading to the N.C. mountains to ride with some co-workers!

I wish I worked with you!
I wish you did too... the more the merrier. As it is right now, we'll have my SV650, an SV1000, a BMW F800GS (or a Triumph Speed Triple... not sure which one he's bringing), an Aprilia Tuono, and a new Triumph Tiger. Should be fun!

I started the process of installing Intiminators today.

I removed my lower fairings and front fender, cleaned them up. Then removed the front calipers and front wheel (hooray for milk crates!). While trying to remove my right fork, I ran into the problem of stripping the bolt that holds the right clip-on. Luckily I found a 6pt socket and was able to bust it open before any further damage. Popped open the right fork, and drained it.

All that took 3 hours. This is also my first time ever doing any fork work on a motorcycle.

I think I'll continue w/ the left fork tomorrow.

The goal is to get everything done by the weekend. :p

Well, it wasn't so much for the bike as it is for the rider...

Ordered my Knox Contour back protector from Blair so that it's here well before track school in May. Woohoo!

Oil change, new air filter, removed the snorkel, new spark plugs, installed Power Commander 3 USB, new front brake pads(EBC), and tuned it on the dyno at school.

Total work time, about 4 hours.

It's like a whole new machine with the PC3USB and the good tuning.

cut fork spacers 58mm long, now just need to get the new springs in there and oil

but cant do that until i get my replacement Abba stand kit

Did a brief burnout after my ride home from work. Cords were beginning to show and the new tire was on the porch. Took rear wheel assembly off then took it for a tire change.

Got a new Z6 Interact on the beast.

Rode it for the first time today. Took out the baffle of my LeoVince, what a great sound!!!!
