Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.

I hosted a Maintenance Day today. We checked valves, changed tires, changed brake lines, flushed brake lines and clutches, installed new rear shocks and front springs, and nobody got hurt!

Here's a pic early in the day with about a third of all the participants:

Finally got my new front tire on. Glad to be riding with fresh rubber and full tread.

E: I want to give a shout out to the folks at the Auburn Cyclegear. I was in there just after opening yesterday to get the ridiculous part required to remove my front axle (19mm hex head). I asked how long the wait might be when I came back in a few hours, and the guy said there were already 8 tires in line to get changed.
Expecting a wait (IE a trip to Ikea) I got in around noonish. They remembered me from earlier and actually switched out my tire when I arrived in under five minutes. They also helped me pick out some new boots and gloves without trying to upsell the expensive stuff. I also picked up a chain breaking & riveting kit for $30 down from (something like) $90.
Definitely going back there for my future needs.

I got my 19mm Allen Key ½" socket at good ol' Harbor Freight for around 5 bucks for a mentric set. It's one of those must have tools for your tool kit.

Washed mine yesterday, and added my Ogio tailbag and saddlebags. I'm still trying to figure out the most secure way to mount them, but after two rides, they're stable. Then I replaced the original battery with another Yuasa.

I also added a Ram Mount to the handlebar and a Sena headset so I can hear my GPS (and music).

Love me my Sena!! I have the original one..not the newer model. Had a set I sold to a guy and his dad on this site too, I believe... Works great and being able to receive phone calls while riding has been a blessing a couple times...emergencies and change of plans, yanno. My wife and I each have one so we can talk while we cruise the hills. Very cool BT set.
