Put on CRG levers, Rizoma grips, Acerbis Cyclops headlight and Baja mini led signals.I reroute my ignition into the tail and am just finishing up wireing a RFID system.

Well...it was yesterday, actually. Today I rode 150 miles for fun. Yesterday I installed a set of new Roadsmarts, changed the oil/filter, and flushed both front/rear brake reservoirs with new Dot 4.

That is all.

Installed a shiny new Yoshi RS-3 slip on. OK, that was a few days ago, but it sounds much better these days. cleaned and lubed the chain today.

Yesterday I changed the oil. Used Rotella 5w-40 T6 Synthetic. The oil that came out was used during the winter and had 2800 miles on it. It looked like it could have stayed in another thousand or two.

I put a very strong samarium cobalt magnet inside the filter to catch metal particles smaller than the filter can catch. It's kinda scary to think about it coming loose, but I don't see how it could. It is stable up to 575* F. and I had to position it with long skinny needle nose pliers. I couldn't move it with my fingers. I read about it on bobistheoilguy.com , quite a few people are doing it. There are videos on YouTube about it, too.

Next time I change oil I'll report back on what kind of junk it attracted.

Rode it to my apartment, packed up my computer and strapped it all to my bike, then took long way home through the mountains. Right after I passed a truck with warning sign "CAUTION WET PAINT AHEAD", I took a curve a little too tight and hit the white line...yup that one was wet. I was slippin and slidin left and right trying to finish the turn without falling over or going into other side and hitting wet yellow line...lol. So now I have white specks all over the bottom of my bike and right half of both tires...hopin I can scrape it off without too much damage to my paint.

you should rinse out the filter then dremel/cut off the part with the magnet stuck to it and see whats 'stuck' to the inside of the filter/magnet!! ;D

Traded the truck in place of the bike for the rest of the week. Last night at 9 was pretty chilly on my way home, didn't notice a State rolling with me down the road doing 70 until he turned off at a light. Whew!

Still got to get that oil change in, probably Friday night..

Started tearing off the stock gauges so I can install the vapor that just showed up at my door. I will be doing a goog write up on the wiring. Have have not seen a good detailed wire color to color write up yet. I will be sure to take a boat load of pics.

Had to jump start it...

Of course it was my fault... Flipped the key to the parking lights instead of LOCK:BangHead:

Im gonna hold ya to it richard, i plan on purchasing those guages soon.

After the Delkevic stubby, and K&N filter, and a re-jet I took it out and beat her up a bit what a difference!!! I lose to my buddy's 900rr by much less now.

Did the R6 throttle mod. That was an easy 10 minute job. Getting a handful of throttle just got easier.

Also bought some new riding gear!! Jacket and Helmet.

Install of the vapor is going okay so far. Need to call trail tech tomorrow to get a longer speedo wire and the larger mag bolt. I have a GSXR front end, and the one they sent was two small.

I am also having trouble getting to the coil for the tach wire.

Changed my plugs last night in about 20 mins. before I had to leave work. Rode home last night, and back to work this morning. I noticed maybe a small difference in the smoothness of the idle, but not really anything else.

Peeled the Stickers off the tank. Wet sanded the tank smooth. Shot some sealer on a few spots. Got to be paint ready so I can ride in all one color this summer.
