Put the battery back in and started her for the first time since November. Roads still way too salty and cinder covered, but it felt good just to hear her purr again.

Next time I'm out to Greensburg to the main office, I'll let you know. I probably won't be on the bike, but we could do lunch or something like that.

I bought a new license plate and put a little reflectve red tape on it to make the cops happy untill I get the plate reflector things.... and I washed it... 3 months in my underground condo parking had a tonn of dust on it...

on Friday some m0therfu(k3r decided to steal my plate with the reflectors while I was at work... ah well I reported it to the cops within a few hours and got a new plate.. but who the hell steals a license plate for a bike??

oh well they will need a socket set to get it off now....

So... anyone got a couple of those little round red licence plate reflectors laying around that they would be willing to donate? :eek:ccasion14:

Had that happened to me quiet a few years ago now.Still can't figure out what you would do with a hot bike plate. Then again I don't have a criminal mindset,no matter what my wife says;D

Rode it for the first time this year.
Did the same ;D

little chilly but it felt good to ride again. first 15 minutes were interesting - took a bit to get back in the groove. Saw several mounds of salt on some on-ramps - yikes!

Rode for a couple hours with my buddy. Went down the road to the local flying club and watched a couple guys flying rc planes for a while. Was a little chilly but it's supposed to be a little warmer tomorrow. Looking forward to a good ride in the country.

I should have a couple. I might also have some of the amber ones left, if you would like to do this...

Hey that is a pretty cool idea... I still have the stock one on the front.. and it is a bit big... not sure I'd do the mini one up front though, most of those small reflectors are really only useful when looked at directly... they aren so great at other angles... I've thought about doing those stick on ones that go down the length of the forks kind of like harleys use... but then I figured they may fall off with the vibration of the lower forks...

a couple red ones for the plate are all I really need but places gouge on shipping for a couple $0.20 items shipping is often $10+ ugg

No mounds of salt here... but the surface is coated with it... so if yo take the same road and know there is no gravel it makes for some pretty fun power slides with the rear ;D

I'm still pretty careful otherwise.. no real leans into corners and I am real careful in intersections... they have gravel in weird spots and a fair amount of it...

I've been on the bike all month so far.. here's hoping the snow stays away now... or if it does come back.. it melts as it hits.... this winter has sucked... normally I get a few days here and there all winter but this year there has been too much snow so that when it does get nice the roads are a wet mess and hiding black ice.... so I had to wait until the roads dried up to risk it... wet roads are ok but it sucks when you hit a bit of black ice under what looks like just a wet surface...
