Woke up feeling pretty ****ty, went for a ride.
Rode the same stretch of curves back and forth 3 or 4 times.
Feel much better now.

not directly for the bike, but i put an eye hook in the ceiling of the garage so i can lift the front end or lift it from the tail so i can do fork or rear shock maint.
Installed a STRE from Dano. Cant tell a huge difference on my 1000. I havent really gotten on it yet either.

I rode today with the fiance' on the back. We went for some dinner...then the sun went down. It was fridgid on the way home! Im in florida but it was still cold!
This weekend. Sanded Upper race fairing & got it primed. Finished mounting lower. Played with some paint job ideas. Dry-Fit new windscreen.
Painted and mounted the rear seat cowl I've had sitting on the shelf for the past six months. Also recovered the drivers seat with some fresh black marine grade vinyl. Looks nice and fresh. The stock seat cover had a few cracks in it from being in the Florida sun for the past three years.
Ordered a billet GSXR top triple that will accept a bar. I'm tired of the clipons. That, and I'm tired of the cluttered front end.

I'm about a week and a half behind here, but got her back from the dealer with new shiny lowers, new rear wheel and tire, new brake pedal, new right turn signal, new right passenger peg, and touched up swing arm from when she was hit by a small dump truck while parked in the street around Thanksgiving

Found a crack in my faring that I didn't notice after the spill. Drilled and epoxied. Got my extra passenger seat to mount properly (had some issues) and noticed that the previous owner was not as much of a b.s-er as I thought
He claimed that he raised the faring to make the N handlebars work with the faring. but he said it in a way that made it seem less than truthful, but sure enough he did.
Now I can begin fabbing up a luggage system with that extra passenger seat.
