Just thought this would be a cool new topic. If there is already one in existence please let me know so I can delete this one, or a mod can do it. As for me I finished my under tail project and rode the crap out of it.
nice job...cutout and steel mesh behind? what did you use to mount the mesh?
Niice.. Shock length \ rate for GSXR 1000 03-04 and 05-06 are in the ABS shock swap guide threadi've been working on a gsxr/zx shock list with rates and correct rider weight for it. need actual shock length for a bunch though, just haven't been able to find them anywhere online. i figure it will make for a nice contribution to the shock swap guide.
already have those ones.Niice.. Shock length \ rate for GSXR 1000 03-04 and 05-06 are in the ABS shock swap guide thread![]()
I havent had my bike inspected since i got her back in 03....lolGot her RE-INSPECTED. Failed the first time for the following:
1. No horn
2. No mirrors (doh...)
3. Leaky fork seal
That's what they entered into the North Carolina database. I showed them that if you turn the key on, the horn works. The mirror could have been fixed on the spot with Cycle Gear right down the street, but the fork seals needed some work.
So, I ordered some seals, the driver (because i plan on doing this often) and some 10w and 15w fork oil (at the suggestion of Zoran). I replace the fork oil myself, put the stock mirrors back on, drive back to the dealer... passed! WOOT! Now I can get my license plate renewed. Shame they have all their systems connected now![]()
Same here until North Carolina linked their license plate renewals with the inspections. Just wait man, once your state gets enough money, they'll know everything about you and your bike!I havent had my bike inspected since i got her back in 03....lol
Yes sir, North Carolina does. Can't get your license plate renewed until you get your sickle inspected.wait they inspect these things?
only some states, but then even in mine they do, but i never take it. the bike i had b4 the SV, i took it in for an inspection, they honked the horn and made sure the the headlight worked......and that was a legit inspection, so i figure most dont have a clue what to look for on a bike, so why waste the money and time.wait they inspect these things?
gets enough money....hahahahahahahaha......lmao i live in wv, the dmv doesnt even accept credit cards yet, u still gotta pay with cash or check.Same here until North Carolina linked their license plate renewals with the inspections.
